Back of the daily hun gives it away. Around 2500 tickets each. So we'll have the same. That'll show its unsafe and it'll take about another season before it returns to a stand each imo.

Keep the * out of parkhead period.* our tory * board.leave this * biased league.i wont be investing my passion and emotions for my team in an obviously rigged league. If others on here can live with being complicit in it then crack on but dont go running to the already massive honest mistakes thread to complain when we are shafted. I shall continue to pray for our team and hope we win every game despite the cheating but it shouldnt be like that.love this forum and will always back you all.be safe guys.HH

Celtic Football Club has submitted an application to Glasgow City Council to install temporary netting in the away section at Celtic Park for Glasgow Derby games next season. This move follows the announcement that around 2.5k away fans will be allowed in to games as of next season

In recent years, the allocation of away fans for the Derby has dwindled drastically. What was once a vibrant spectacle of rival of 7k supporters has been reduced to just 800 visiting fans due to the Ibrox board’s petulance, and more recently, none at all. The shut out was primarily driven by Celtic and significant safety concerns, notably the injuries caused by missiles thrown from the top tier at Ibrox. Celtic refused to allow their fans to be targets in the corner of the stadium which saw injuries to attendees

The new agreement between the clubs to allow 2500 away fans marks a return to a more meaningful presence at these matches. However, this increase necessitates stringent safety measures, which Celtic is addressing with their netting proposal. The temporary netting aims to create a safer environment by preventing objects from being thrown between the home and away sections

The official description of the proposed work submitted to Glasgow City Council reads: “Installation of temporary netting to the Southeast corner between the home and away support. The netting is installed before each Celtic vs Rangers match and disassembled after.” The application was lodged on April 4th

Should go at the front too to prevent bottles etc being thrown at players.

    Good.
No fans is better, but if we have to, make them know they are the issue

This is what we need for those dirty hun tramps.. even that's too good for the scum. Thats An away section in Poland, still needs a netted roof for the animals. Paint it green white and orange

Ofc a part of me want them banned forever, but the atmosphere have not been the same without our fans celebrating at Ibrox. So i hope it gets sorted out.

Can't wait to hear thousands of Tims roar when we pumpt them home and away as usual.

While it be good/funny to see them fenced in.. it would be better to simply not see them in the ground, * them.

If this gets the go-ahead it should be mandatory for they * to follow suit. Our bhoys going to the * pit is a bigger danger than a couple thousand mutants coming to Paradise.

Did Celtic not make this point last season and say it was one (of others I'm sure) that needed addressed before any deal could even be considered?

Fuzzy on the details mate but I do remember the huns not having the money to do it which meant the allocation staying at zero. Think it's highly likely we made the demand though aye.

Electric fences would be better than netting. Put the * in a cage like the animals they are

    100% correct decision.

If they want to do it at Ibrox, they should probably net the home sections.

Some * will screenshot that and then say but Celtic fans rushed their CEO or they attacked their own team bus or they threw an object at a referee and Tavernier.

    * laughable. We've had incidents where Celtic staff, both playing and non-playing, have been threatened or attacked physically in nearly every game there for the last 5+ years.

Aye, it was agreed upon for 1st game of the season only for huns to then not do it. Likely due to being skint so celtic refused the tickets.
Unless there is some official written agreement, wouldnt he suprised to see similar happening this season.

Problem is that the huns can't afford a net that size.

Probably let these vermin in to our ground on the first game and then they will back track and not let us in to their crumble dome. Don't trust the *.
Not looking forward to them in paradise
