I think he is a Rodgers type of player because he does have quality. His problem is mostly mentality, he also does daft stuff when the safer option was better but he’s already proven early doors he’s got end product for all levels.

Would give him another season, Maeda and Forrest's form limited his chances, but you could be right about Rodgers, as even with those two hitting form his chances have been limited.

I just think considering he was brought in last summer as our dearest transfer, if he struggled to get into our team this year given the wingers we had, then he isn’t good enough. Because I think we need at least another one winger just now anyway to improve us. He isn’t a bad player, I just don’t think he is good enough.

Wasn't a Rodgers signing, not many really was.
Think that may have played a subconscious part to it.

Though we do need to remember, he was injured for parts and come the second half of the season we was hitting form and rhythm that didn't need to be messed with if not overly needed.

Think he will stay with us next season and he will get his chances. needs to take them.

Forrest will be another year down the line and I don't think we can rely on him across the length and breadth of a season.

We really haven't replaced Jota yet. Don't have anyone even near to what he offered and that has to be the benchmark.

He was leading the celebrations after the game, even though he didn't get on. He seems happy enough, and if anyone can improve his decision making, it's Rodgers.

honestly it's hard to see where he fits maeda is miles better than him. I can see him leaving on loan maybe because i don't think he'll be happy being a bench player for another season

IF we sign a couple of more tall physical players, then he can be an asset from set pieces with MOR likely to be gone. If Abada's replacement can do that, then he may struggle.

Honestly I’d just punt if we got a decent bid. His numbers are excellent but there’s a reason he has barely had a look in recently. Physically he’s just not what we need or what Rodgers wants. Yeah he’s a good option from the bench but we should be looking for better despite his glaring qualities if we want to really progress.

He has a place in the squad and for me not a priority, great numbers considering he’s hardly played lately. If anyone was getting shipped out then I would rather it was Kuhn and Yang and concentrate on getting replacements in for the right hand side

Just doesn't suit our style of play at all as a winger. Whoever green lit this signing obviously never watched us play before.

I'm not against keeping him if he was moved more central perhaps behind the striker perhaps.

Looks like he gets a bit of a free rein with Honduras as was popping up all over there. Bermuda look * level but some of the crosses and passing was still technically very good.

You do wonder if we played 4-2-3-1 could he play more centrally? I know that was debated with Haksabanovic before but despite popular belief Palma does work hard off the ball and his pressing is normally quite useful.

Simply don't get the negativity towards Palma - he will create a load of chances for us next season and score a few as well
