Who do you support?

I struggle to watch football that isn't Celtic, Scotland or Hanwell Town. I used to enjoy it but I can't get massively into it anymore. Watching Celtic fills me with adrenaline, even the Celtic Vs Hibs women's game did that.

Did watch the 22 Europa final shootout though.

Out with Celtic, I enjoy the sports as a spectacle but have no favourite team or person.

 

In that order:

1. Celtic. Love at firs sight!
2. Any Belgian pro cyclist.
3. VfB Stuttgart(grew up in Germany). Saw them in the times when they had Guido Buchwald, Klinsmann, Sammer etc. lost a lot of appeal since they are pretty much a financial feeder club these days.
4. Racing Mechelen, 4the division. They play in green and white and have a cool old school vibe about them. Plus they are local.
5. Follow the results of Feyenoord too. Used to go there in my crazier younger years.

see loads of national teams bring mentioned. No Belgium on tv or shirts here. Come from a family that is very much for more Flanders and less Belgium.

 

i think Gothenburg and Club Brugge can be added to that axe of evil lol

I know quite a few English born Celtic fans down here but I actually don't know a single English born Celtic fan that actually supports England off the top of my head

 

Its complex for us. In a way its two of my identities that clash with each other. During my youth I was more pro Irish than now actually, i'd watch rep Ireland first with my dad, england was secondary. Felt like that was what made me different from others as I had no English family. But Where you are from will eventually make you look back and feel proud, as part of my journey much rather than the British empires which nobody wants to be associated with unless they are thick/inbred/hun.
Celtic is first though, i think its basically magic how i ended up supporting them.

I have a soft spot for St Pauli, but I'm massively disappointed with their stance on Palestine. Up until last season, I would have probably put St Pauli ahead of Celtic tbh. Definitely not anymore.
