Probably would be demanding high wages that makes it unrealistic.

I'd rather we were targeting players out in smaller leagues to make.the jump up rather than EPL players that are falling down. There are some good ones to be had but it inflates the wages and I don't think you get a great return from most.

I think Tanganga would be a good pick up on a free. Can play full back or centre back, has good pace and is strong. Decent on the ball too. A bit like CCV needs somewhere to play regularly.

Would absolutely be looking into Tanganga.

Would obviously have to take a drop in wage, but that's likely going to be the case wherever he goes next.

If we could get him in on 20-25k, I'd say it's a good signing. Versatile too.

Always thought that the young fella Sessegnon would go right to the top, that's the guy who was at Fulham aye?, looked outstanding for them iirc.

I know it doesn't set the Heather on fire, but Tanganga was by all accounts, decent whilst out on loan to Millwall.

I wouldn't mind getting him in

    The very same.

Still only 24, it's not like he's 29 and been out of action for 7 odd years...

Our track record with injuries is a massive worry but when Sessegnon himself has also struggle to show he's fit enough to carry on as a professional in the game, I don't think he's in any position to really negotiate EPL level wages

Cheers, yeah he was on track to be a star but fell away due to lack of gametime and injury.

Some of the best ranked players outside of the bigger leagues and outside of the bigger teams in the smaller leagues.

    Portugal

    Rafa Mujica- Rating 7.16-
Striker playing for Arouca. Had a very good season in Portugals top flight last season, scoring 23 goals and providing 4 assists in 36 games. At 25, his best years are ahead of him. Currently valued at £5m.

Jota Silva- Rating 7.12- Winger playing Vitoria Guimares. Has had a few good seasons with Vitoria now. Plays very similar to his namesake, who played with us but predominantly plays off the right hand side. Very good player. Still only 24 years old, who could really grow with a team who dominates like we do. Only has a year left on his contract. He scored 15 goals and provided 7 assists in 42 games for Vitoria this season.

Ricardo Velho- Rating 7.05- Goalkeeper who plays for Farense. He's the best performing goalkeeper in Portugal this season. At 25, this was his first season in the Portuguese top flight and is valued at a very low £600k. Still managed to provide 7 clean sheets for Farense and helped them achieve a very good midtable finish in their first season back in the top flight.

    Belgium

    Aboubakary Koita- Rating 7.56-
Left winger playing for St Truiden. The second highest performer in Belgium, just behind Cameron Puertas from USG. An excellent return this season of 15 goals and 3 assists in 38 games, this season. Also valued at around the £5m mark, he's rapid and direct. Exactly what I like in a winger.

Emin Bayram-Rating 7.26- Centre back who played for Westerlo last season, on loan from Galatasaray. Not 100% sure where the Turks see him, in terms of his position in the squad but he was the best performing centre back in Belgium last season. He's currently valued at £4m and at 21 years old, he looks like he has enough about him to develop into a very good centre back. Has also played as a defensive midfielder.

Kevin Denkey-Rating 7.21- Let's face it, we all know about him. Probably who we would all love to play up front for us in the Rodgers system but he's the most expensive player on this list and with good reason. Currently valued at £16m, he's an absolute unit. Looks like Dembele 2.0. At 23 years old, he is only going to get better and his goal scoring is ridiculous for a team who don't score many. 28 goals and 3 assists in 38 games. He's a monster. He has 2 years remaining on his deal with Cercle Brugges and he's likely to go for a club record sale, which currently stands at £8m. I think it's unlikely that they get double that for Denkey, even though he's likely worth it. Might be out of budget but one I wouldn't completely rule out.

    Holland

    Peer Koopmeiners-Rating 7.24-
Little brother of Tuen Koopmeiners, who is on the verge of a move to Juventus from Atalanta, he spent last season on loan at Almere City, playing as a defensive midfielder. At 24 years old and with only a year left on his contract, he might fancy his chances at a move somewhere, as Alkmaar don't seem to fancy him too much. Managed 10 assists for Almere in 34 games from the base of midfield. Currently valued at £1.8m, he might be available for a cut price fee.

Daan Rots-Rating 7.12- Right winger for FC Twente, he scored 9 goals and provided 10 assists in 40 games this season. Likes to cut off the left, when playing on the right hand side and at 22 years old, he has some time to develop. Currently valued at £7m but with only a year left on his deal, he's another that might be available for a cut price fee.

Great knowledge mate. You wonder how many of these players our recruitment department (do we still have one?) are aware of

Franculino of Midtjylland is one for keeping an eye on. 19 year old former Benfica youth. 6ft tall and just had a good season in his first senior year.

100%. Watched him a few times this season and he needs to be polished up a little bit but he's going to be a cracking player. 19 years old, strong, quick, powerful. Needs to be a bit better in front of goal and improve his decision making but wouldn't surprise me to see him really kick on next season. 17 goals and 6 assists in 36 games this season is very impressive.

Some similarities between him and Boniface, while he was at Bodo, actually.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind that he will end up at one of the bigger clubs in Belgium, Holland or Salzburg. Teams who generally know how to recruit.

I didnt realise New York RB had signed Emil Forsberg from RB Leipzeig. Would of loved us to sign him, really underrated player who is a great set piece taker. Would have done a job for us.
