Nicolas Kühn

Hate to tell you this, but all wingers are inconsistent and mercurial. Not everything they try is going to come off. And it doesn't matter if it's Davie 'the Dancer' Hamilton, Charlie Tully, Jinky Johnstone, Paddy McCourt, Scott Sinclair, Paddy Roberts, James Forrest, Jota, Nicholas Kuhn or anyone else. It's how it has always been and always will.

Whether he is quality and is going to cut it long term or not is another question, but precious few wingers are consistent and those that are absolute quality and pretty well consistent are always going to be out of our reach.

 

I just can't take to him at all. Flashes of quality but that's it.

I'd be looking for an immediate upgrade in the Summer.

 

I think he'd be an alright back-up, but the problem is we have 3 RW's and none of them are good enough to start on a consistent basis.

Ideally, we punt Yang out on loan and bring another RW in, with Forrest interchanging on both wings and Kuhn back-up at RW.

He has talent, but he has to start showing it.

 

Still not convinced by him, hardly ever produces anything

 

I would keep him for another season but let Yang go.

 

Palma looked better last week, but I guess Rodgers didn't trust him today.

 

Just seems to be getting worse everytime I see him play.
Offered * all today.
If I was to make a call right now on the RW, I would punt Yang Kuhn and MJ, take whatever offered, and just go out and spend on a winger-not a project. Jamesy will do fine as a back up.

 

Initially looked pish then had a few decent games. Sadly has reverted to pish again.

 

Did nothing yet again. Deserves a pre-season and another shot next year but I'll be very surprised if he goes on to do much with us.

We need two sign two quality wingers in the summer. Rodgers evidently isn't a big fan of Palma and Kuhn has been pish.

 

lets be totally honest here, most of them names you mentioned it’s a travesty you have named him anywhere near them.

Jota was quality, was in our reach. Recruitment was * horrendous it can be done, like I said I’m being brutal I don’t see it, he was * again coming on today.

We need better.

 

It's a no from me. Rodgers clearly not convinced either. I imagine we will be looking to strengthen the wide areas. Palma also looks out the picture.

 

If we were being ruthless we'd ship him out in summer along with Yang and look for two starting standard wingers. Not sure we'll be that decisive but truth is we need better.

Been really underwhelmed with what iv seen of him so far. I dont see this pace he is hyped as having and i dont see a tenacity or mentality which inspires confidence that he will cut it with us

 

I’m also in the underwhelmed camp. Need to see more from him if he’s to be a starter for us.

Cutting inside and swinging in an inverted cross is something he’s good at, and he’s a decent passer. But he rarely takes a shot on, and he looks lightweight.

On the positive side he scored two important goals in two separate games against Aberdeen.

 

His decent games have been few and far between. If we were offered what we paid for him back, I would take it. Need better for next season.

He's a squad player, not a player that takes us up a level.

As it stands, happy to have him here and if we strengthen elsewhere in the squad adequately, then Forrest and Kuhn for the right isn't too shabby at all.

But he's not next level for us.

Tidy, think he's a decent player.

Get a quality right winger signed..

 

Doesn’t even contribute from the bench. We need better from the bench never mind in the first 11. Not good enough, seems to be far too timid. His final ball is woeful. Punt.
