Money is money, and when he's gone, he's gone... I'd personally prefer we get about £25-30M off a Southampton type club, who will inevitably sell him at a high price to a Liverpool/Utd type club for a tidy 20% sell-on...

Personally, I've no beef with Southampton taking our players, they never once did us dirty, or grabbed a player when we still needed them for qualifiers.

Lol, Southampton saying they'll be priced out of it, ffs, they signed a nomark at cb because he's been with Man City one time in life so that's £20m starters.

    * sake gies peace, they're obviously hoping they're getting him for around £10m or so cause it's little old Scotland.

Guaranteed they pay over £25m for a player this summer, who no * knows.

If they had a bid accepted, he probably would, let's be real.

I think @DonnyCelt point is that he'll have offers elsewhere.

That does seem like nonsense they were only down one season and sold players for over €180m and spent €21m so made a massive player trading profit. They will also have had their parachute payment and be back in the money this year. £25-30m would be in their price range, possibly outmatched if some of the bigger name teams do come in for him but not financially.

I never thought of the fact Martin managed him at MK Dons. They do however have Alcarez to come back from Juve and a few other players they loaned last year. Put it this way they aren’t in like a Leeds position where they never really sold any of their stars.

I see they have Kameldeen Sulemana still but his value seems to be dropping. He would be a cracking player to try get on loan for our left wing. I doubt we could afford to buy him at any point but he is a real talent in the right team.

    Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Southampton.

I think he’s an astute guy that knows he doesn’t need a rung up the ladder move at this point. He’ll have multiple options as the window develops IMO.

Possibly, it's just I've thought this about multiple others. I'd much rather see him at a inter or something if he is to leave, but often it's a lower half prem team

Resigned to losing him, as many of us have been. 2 and half years here, 6 trophies. Probably right for him that he makes the move to the big time. Would love to see him go abroad.

With so many teams interested, surely it's not out of the question to be asking for £30m.

Don't see Roma affording him unless they sell Dybala, and I'd be shocked if anyone in Germany signs him for what we want.

Feel it's almost a given he goes down south.
