Early and mental predictions for next season.

That actually (and genuinely!) made me laugh out loud...

 

People keep saying that we need about 8-9 players brought in, but that idea actually terrifies me, because I can't envision we'd get that many signings right, or that we'd get enough bodies out to compensate for it. I'd rather we got in 3-4 players now and another 2-3 in January to strengthen (provided we keep the players we want, of course) and I reckon we'd do well next year.

For me we need GK, LB or LCB, replace MOR (probably) and CF (Idah?). I'm sure there's other squad stuff, but I'm talking 1st team.

Be nice to get the other half of the LB or LCB and RW, but think we could soldier by until January.

For me it's about getting in the quality of player, rather than the quantity of players. We need a multi transfer window strategy, planning towards the 2025-26 season, where we're gonna be going through CL qualifiers again... That's the target point we need to focus on!

Yeah, I know, it sounds daft... But the idea of us just reloading the squad with 10 projects for a combined £25M is my idea of personal *...

No point even thinking about that until we see our seeding and draw... If the selection is kind, absolutely! If it's horrific, we roll the die and do the best we can!

 

I predict that we will have another really * transfer window. Especially the keeper. We will sign a really crap keeper to replace Hart and that next season will be a disaster.

In all seriousness though I am actually worried about replacing Hart. I still have PTSD from Barkas. BR isn't exactly great at identifying them either.

 

I'll probably kick myself for saying this but I think we are going to spend some decent money this summer.

 

The club must think this postion in the team is invisible as we haven't seriously replaced Taylor in a few years now and it really needs looked at in the summer transfer window.

 

Treble. Rodgers is raging he lost that first trophy. Also the board know it was a bit to close for comfort. A few of the Koreans will be gone.

I predict a qaulity keeper and 1 banging midfielder to compliment the signing of bernardo.

Idah will sign.

I can see 1 more right wing coming in and an experienced pro to help us keep cool during these pressure last moments of the game we keep chucking away. Total spend after oriley sale. -1.2m.
