I'd be disappointed if we weren't pushing for 30 mil if selling to England. Three years on his deal, home grown player, Danish international, shown he can perform in the Champions League. Obviously things will change if O'riley is pushing for a move which I think he will be.

Think we should be asking for at least £30million. Then add a future sell on clause for 20% at least.

No question if O'Riley decides he wants to move on this summer we should be getting a new club record selling fee for him of somewhere in or at 30m.

True. Hypothetically if he got promoted with Fulham say and done well in his first season he’d be worth a fortune. As money is crazy there. Especially for a young English talent who recently became a full Danish international.

Think it will be the standard £20-25m though. Teams know they don’t need to pay big for players from here.

Recent big sales too ie Jota (£25m) Bassey (£19m) will not help as they have hardly set the heather alight.

At the very least it should be breaking the Jota fee..

I think after punishments to Everton and Forest we will see these clubs spend less. In January they were * scared to spend money.

£30-35M seems likely, especially since Atletico already had a bid in and we know the EPL will want him since he’s association trained. He’ll get some payday out that as well and too right, he’s earned it.

Just seen on twitter (I know) Fulham want him and Celtic are holding out for at least 50m.. now that's more like it..(even if its bullshit)

Aswell as Lawwells Ceiling for buying player is * and hasn't changed in decades it would also seem his selling Ceiling doesn't move much either..

We should absolutely be charging top dollar for someone of MOR calibre and potential especially if its those twats down south.. start the bidding at 45M...

I'd rather keep him but that's highly unlikely to near impossible

would be best to keep him ,all the chat about trying to progress in europe falls flat on its face when we constantly sell our best players , we should sell about 15 players who have done next to nothing .

He should be going to a better club than Fulham or Brighton anyway.

We're not get £45m for him, let's be serious.

If he goes to the Euros and makes an impact then all good, it makes us in an even stronger position..

The fact he counts as homegrown must make him attractive to the likes of Villa and Spurs..

He's a smart, and ambitious, guy, he'll want to go wherever he feels he has the best chance to play regularly and develop further. If he feels a club like Brighton offer him the best option for improving long term that's where he'll want to go, rather than to a better club where he knows he'll more likely be a bit part player and probably stagnate for a year or 2.

Whether they will meet out valuation is a different matter.

Big money moves to England from Scotland can be a bit hit or miss too.

VVD & Wanyama using a Club like Southampton as a further stepping stone worked well for them. Maybe Brighton would be a good move for him.

Edouard has in general struggled at Palace, although they do have very effective forward players just now. KT struggled at Arsenal..

So he needs to be careful, if A Madrid come back in for him, think that would be the move that would be difficult to turn down.

It’s about time we start demanding proper money for our key players.

For example, Feyenoord have told potential buyers if they want Giminez, they better cough up 100 mil euro.

We don’t have to sell, and if premier league clubs come calling, we should absolutely be asking for £50mil & 30% sell on fee.

I disagree mate. It’s only because we are too shortsighted as a club that selling our top players becomes a major problem for us. If we sell O’Riley for £25-30m for arguments sake, we should the. Be using that money to bring in 3/4 players that are ready to walk into the starting eleven which would make us stronger overall. We never do though. We * about trying to pluck a gem which usually turns into a raft of players, mostly who are not good enough, and we end up with a bloated squad with dross we can’t shift. Spunking wages away in the process. Our transfer model simply has to change.

Anything above £20m would be incredible money for him. Hoping for one last big performance from him on Saturday.
