A choice for an Irish lad between playing for an average sized championship club in England and Celtic in the Champions leagues new format, no brainer you'd think too..

See what happens over the summer

With Norwich getting battered and staying in championship I think they’ll be happy to get £5m for Idah and for us he’s a completely different option up front

Surely Norwich are more likely to want to keep him for the Championship than the Prem where they’d have stupid amounts to spend on a striker(s)?

See I think his finishing needs some work, that last night was obviously an easy chance but last weekend for example he had a few opportunities to bury the scum and didn't take them and it's happened in other games.

But aye as I said above the attributes are there and for the right price I think it'll happen.

Idah himself will push the deal through imo. No chance he wants to go back and play for Norwich if Celtic want him to stay. We pay a fair fee of 5-6m and get the deal done.

Can we get him cheaper now they're stuck in the championship another season?

My initial thinking was that Norwich staying in the championship would make it more difficult to make a deal.
If they had gone up, they’d definitely be splashing some big cash on a new striker, or 2, so they’d be happy to let him go for a reasonable fee.

Now they’re probably thinking of taking him back, or at the very least trying to get the most amount of money possible for him, as they’ve missed out on the riches of the PL.

Even against Killie his play could have been better, that's a positive for me in what I'd say is his best performance for us.

Some of his ball control and passing whilst it usually worked was a bit rough. It's the aggression and desire to either bring others in, or push defenders back that was really impressive for me on Wednesday.

I still think 3, maybe 4mil is a fairer price rather than 5m but starting to sound like Peter Lawell so I'll just stop there.

As Norwich have just sacked their manager, it could be some time before his future is decided. That may mean Brendan moves on to more certain targets as opposed to possibilities.

I was of the opinion not to buy him but he was brilliant against Killie, think we should get him in. Has came in with some important goals.

To be fair although he has been very professional in what he has said I get the feeling he would like to move to Celtic. But we will see what happens. Personally I think he would be a good signing for us and we could hopefully offload Oh as well as I just don't think he is good enough.

One thing is for sure regardless of whether we sign him on a long term deal this summer or not he has scored some massive goals in this title race for us and played a significant part in us winning this title.

He had a brilliant game against Killie but his previous games have been mediocre, still not convinced we should buy him, glad to be proved wrong as we need a big striker to lead the line like he did on Wednesday.
