Can't see it, not because of money, because it'd be too difficult to keep those three stikers happy with enough gametime playing one up top, we saw how hard it is with just Kyogo and GG, think whoever we sign this summer it'll Kyogo, another, then Maeda as 3rd choice backup, a similar new versatile winger that can do a job through the middle if needed, or promoting a B team player in a worst case emergency.

No chance we should be signing Idah and Miovski. It should be one of them and another striker of a higher quality.

They're too similar in terms of ability at the moment.

Yeah - and especially at the speculated prices for both.

He played well last night but bare in mind McInnes was expecting Kyogo. I don't think he was prepared for anything else.

Idah gives another option up front but I think we could do better for the money.

Norwich are taking the * if the 5 mil price is true. He was nowhere until Rodgers brought him on. Rodgers is good at bringing players on & he's done well with Idah.

    But he's not european level.

A goal involvement every 64 mins. What's European level?

Surely that's SPFL? I don't remember him being involved in Europe.

But I woke up at 11:30am with a pint of vodka & orange in front of me. So that's my excuse in. :50:

I just think we could do better for the money. He's way better than Norwichs perception of him but his awareness concerns me.

The game the other week he could have passed several times but didn't & it cost us.

But having said that he had a * of a game last night.

Those passes come with age and experience. That's why strikers cost more when they hit 27. They've still got the speed, the skill but with the vision only experience gives and calmness to finish the job.

I mean if we can get better than him then we're in for a right treat next year. Whatever happens, I'm excited to see who we sign and how we develop

    I think it's quite fair.

Remember he's probably not developed that quick as Norwich were in the EPL a couple of times and even the Championship is a tough League for young guys.

If instead of playing for Norwich he was loaned to League 2 and then League 1 he'd probably have run amok and then started playing for Norwich with more confidence and experience.

Shows also that he had good talent that Norwich were playing him since he was 17/18.

He is someone with a good chance of going on to be an EPL level striker.

This season he has 18 goals in 58 games for Celtic, Norwich and Ireland, this his first real season of performing as well at 22/23 years old, we'd be getting him at a really good time I think where he is just establishing himself and probably now physically ready to lead the line and with confidence. You wouldn't be surprised if he scored 30 next season either for us or if he joined a Championship team like Southampton or Burnley or Leeds or whoever is there.

Bang on there mate. Given the chance & he is way better than the way Norwich look at him.

Up here he has had the space to shine. You're right about the English league though, it's cutthroat there.

    Hail hail.

Aye he's started off his career the hard way at 18 playing in the EPL, 19 in the Championship, 20 back in the EPL, 21 back in the Championship.

If he'd have done the business starting off like that he'd probably be a generational talent. Kane, Lewandowkski, Zlatan and whoever wouldn't start their careers well like that.

If he'd been loaned out to League 2 blitzed the League then League 1 and done the same at 19/20/21 which he'd probably have done he'd be viewed as a young goalscorer on the come up and totally different to how he is now. He'd also have started off his Norwich career more with experience and the confidence knowing he is too good for League 1 or whatever. Instead he started of struggling at a high level, being then held back because he was unproven.

Bad management from Norwich could end up in a streal for us.

If he can use that as a bench mark of where he needs to be at least and improve I'm back on board.
My biggest problem, same with many of our signings this season, is awareness. Looked more aware of his team and his control and touch was just working for him last night.

What more could he have done in his short spell here to prove he’s a worthy signing?

Scored key goals against Hibs and Motherwell to win us 6 points

Not sure of the specific stats but he must be contributing a goal or assist per 90

Gives us a different option upfront - more pace and power

    Was outstanding last night

    He loves it here

Get him signed up. Absolutely we should sign someone else but Idah is a far better option than Oh.

Rodgers was going to play 2 up top in his last season during his first spell but we sold Dembele last day of the window.

Was phenomenal last night. After churning out one of the worst cameos I've ever witnessed last weekend.

Think that's what you'd be buying. Still raw but he has the attributes to tear up Scotland at the minimum and would be more of a handful for most European defences than Kyogo.

I still think Miovski perhaps guarantees better finishing and is more rounded but for £3-4m is sign Idah and then look elsewhere for someone else with more experience. Think you'd then be looking pretty good.

    Still not 100% convinced.

Outstanding last night, link up play physicality hold up play, get's into great positions like all good centre forwards should, knows how to finish, well worth signing if the fee is right.

Norwich staying in the Championship. Could be a good sign for us.

Idah, Kvistgaarden & Saldana and we'd be cooking.

If we sign Idah we also need a different type of striker, too ideally one that can also play number 10 or in the hole for flexibility

Think it will defo happen, although I think it will drag out a bit arguing over the fee.. if Rodgers can do for idah what he done for oriley he could turn into a serious player
