Ok these are not great but a couple of pictures from the window looking right out at the tree branch where the Robin's nest is. The grainy aspect of the picture is because of the screen on the window which you need here in the US. Hopefully I will get some more photos later when she is actually feeding the chicks later and when they start to try and fly.

haha yes we are at this point Johnie. Marc here. As you can see I got the first pic up it is of the nest. The chicks are still really small but hopefully when they get bigger I might get a pick of mom feeding them.

 

not a good photo I know but if I go outside mom gets scared and flies away so taking pics from the chair by the window is the only way I can get close to her. Thats mom on the ground below the nest.

 

Well done Marc, , maybe you're a bit too close to the screen when you're taking the pics, the last thing you want is the hen to fly off and abandon the nest, so it;s best not to disturb her too much.

 

For sure don't want to scare her away at all. So thats why I stay inside. When I watch from the chair by the window its all good she comes and goes normally from her nest then and we have a front row seat for the action so that is working perfect. Hopefully like I said when the chicks geta bit bigger I might get a few photos of mom feeding the chicks.

Thanks as you can tell from my posts although I live in a Chicago suburb in the area I live its a bit quieter and there is a fair bit of wild life. Lots of ducks around us, Robins of course, always lots of Rabbits, some Coyote's and foxes. My wife likes to work in her garden so with all her plants, herbs, flowers etc we attract quite a few butterflies and often have them set their chrysalis in her plants, also some humming birds as well.
