Aye but he hasnt mate. Thats exactly the point. Despite what he achieved at Valarenga, He is still unproven with us.

I cant see it going down well with rodgers.

For a left wing option it could be worth looking at Cluj left winger Philip Otele. He is 25 year old Nigerian, that can play anywhere across the front 3, is a good 1 v 1 dribbler with good pace and strength. Is around 6ft tall too so would add good physicality.

He has played 38 league games this season scoring 16 and has 8 assists. There was some chat a month ago Brighton were interested but to buy him and loan him to USG. The asking price was only around £3m.

Mady Camara, out of contract with Olympiacos in the summer. Box to box midfielder who would add some pace and power to the midfield, and a good age at 27. Added bonus of a fierce long range shot.

Would still like to see Solbakken, sure available for a few million and also the wee Bodo lb wembanago (sp?).

Also maybe a year or two away, but I'd seriously try and get in the ears of Andy Robertson and John McGinn, Robertson will only be 32 when his contract expires, and McGinn will be 32/33 when his does as well, but maybe try for him year before along with Robertson.

Maybe those two and a Tierney would be options, and the first two are very fit.

Not sure what they're future Outlooks are but they are big Celtic fans.

I have high hopes for Maurits Kjaergaard here at RB Salzburg who can play anywhere down the left side inc FB/WB
He’s defo one that I’d be more than happy we pursue
Big strong and a cracking left foot on him
    He’s only 20 as well

Iheanacho is out contract in the summer, wonder if Rodgers would want to try for him.

Wages would be crazy and put him beyond us I'd imagine, but I'd take him

Reportedly on £65,000 a week in the Championship. Suppose it would come down to does he want to win trophies and play in the Champions League at this stage of his career. We could afford to give him a decent signing on fee and £25-35,000 a week if Rodgers thought he could make a difference.

That would be the top end of what we could offer, but I just stat checked him, his recent years form probably doesn't justify that at us, I'd imagine he'll end up at another English club most likely one of the yoyos

Probably not likely to come back but would be a great experienced player to have in the midfield

Thought his injury was a bad one. If it's replacement for O'Riley it would be a downgrade

Last I read their manager had said they were hopeful he'd be fit for euros.

Not as a replacement for Oriley more a back up to Hatate. We really lack someone who can drive forward from midfield when he's not fit.
    Good experience and homegrown too

Depends on what other kind of deals he's offered. Likelyhood it's gonna be similar level teams to Southampton. Couple of years back here mite be more appealing to him

An interesting young player who is going to be going for £300k development fee is Reuell Walters, a 19 year old right back that can also play at Centre Back.

He is around 6 ft with an athletic build, really good on the ball as you would expect coming through Arsenals academy. He has decided not to sign a new deal as he wants to be involved with the first team. He could be a really good pick up and we could certainly sell O’Riley and Frimpong as examples of young players coming here to make a name for themselves.

Lilian Brassier (24) (Brest) would be an incredible signing to replace Scales as the left sided center back.

Has it all, already been contact in January from AC Milan and Porto. Would likely be a hard deal to pull off, with that level of clubs interested, but definitely the kind of target we should be after, rumoured to be in the €10-€12 range.

If we want to take that next step up in European football, he's the exact type target we should be going after.

Left footed, good passing ability, can run with the ball, good aerial ability, fast, strong and very comfortable on the ball.

He'll definitely go on to play for a top European club, can tell from watching him how talented he is. I'm not optimistic we'd be ambitious and go after a player like him, but here's hoping.

Ladislav Krejčí (25) (Sparta Prague) another top talent, can play LCB and DM. 6'3", athletic, strong, aerially fantastic, not afraid to go into tackles, brave on and off the ball, great work rate.

A more realistic option, would 100% be within our price range and would be an upgrade on our current options.

Offers a much needed aerial threat, very well rounded, versatile in the positions he can play, good passing and composure.

Should absolutely be someone we seriously look at.

McKenna and O’Hare from Coventry would be perfect signings, both on a free.

Essentially an upgrade on Scales and a replacement for O’Riley (albeit different types of players) for nothing.
