Gonna be a fair whack of money if he goes in the summer, which to me looks likely.
Good if he stayed another year to have a proper crack in Europe but I’d doubt it

 

He’ll move on with my best wishes tbf, he could have kicked up * to force the Atletico Madrid move to happen but got head down, and been the biggest reason we’re looking like we’re going to seal the league.

They sorta moves aren’t guaranteed to come round again, and O’Riley developing in a team like that under Simeone is something that could turn him into the very top level of players. Fair play to him, compare that to Moussa Dembele and Lyon…

 

definitely mate, was thinking the same. The rate he improves here is scary but ye just know he’ll kick on even more at one of the big hitters. will be interesting to watch his career in years to come

 

Back to his imperious best last 2 games, what a player.
If he could improve his finishing 10% would be unbelievable (and also not at Celtic).

Would love us to get one more season out of him but really can’t see it. Going to be a big big loss when he goes

 

No doubt we will have interest in O'Riley this summer and he may well end up going. If that does happen theres a good chance its for a new club record fee. But I would not be so sure he will leave. He clearly loves playing for Celtic and in particular clearly has a real connection with Brendan Rodgers and after the utter * show that was last summers window if O'Riley knows Rodgers will be properly backed and in charge of this summers window I can see him being interested in staying for one more season and another crack at the champions league.

 

Whilst I'd love him to stay another season I think that's all pretty fanciful. O'Riley is already attracting interest from some of the best clubs. Another season with us isn't going to do anything for his career.

yeah I think we might get another season from him , think at 23 he knows he has clubs watching him but I think he will want to play football , he left Fulham because he wasnt guaranteed game time and went to lower leagues to get that game time , he’s a smart guy and knows there’s probably still more to learn and having another crack at champions league in a team where he is adored might just appeal to him ! He knows he still has plenty of time to make millions

 

Absolutely no chance of keeping him if we are turning down bids off Ath Madrid
