You are right, his record in terms of victories is excellent. Which makes his statistics all the more of an indication that he hasn’t played well for the most part against them. Because we have dished out some serious doings in his time here. So you would expect a winger to have far better stats. I can remember being frustrated many times with Forrest against them. Let’s hope on Saturday he puts in a performance. He has the ability, just seems to have lacked belief over the years in my opinion.

I would be inclined to say yes mate.... but that would mean you wouldn't be able to perform at the after game gig, you've doubtless got lined up, and that would leave lots of happy Tims disappointed. There is always next year DD

The narrative will be that both teams are weak at the back, and they are.

However, a back five of Hart, Johnston, CCV, Scales and Taylor is infinitely stronger than a back five of Butland, Tavernier, Soutar, Davies and Barasic, which we may see on Saturday.

Look beyond that.

A midfield of Hatate, McGregor, O'Riley is infinitely better than Sterling, Diomande and Lundstram.

A strike force of Maeda, Kyogo and Forrest is infinitely better than McAusland, Dessers and Fabio Silva.

 

and they have a real issue with Sterling improving all 3 areas of the field for them. At LB more reliable than Barasic, they need him in midfield and if they play him infront of Tavernier at RW he covers a lot of his defensive frailties. So the biggest headache they have going into it, is where they’re worried about most to play him.

He’s not good enough to get near MOR, Calmac and Hatate though, so do they give up the midfield battle before a balls kicked because they don’t trust either full back they have to play him at LB, or a defensive minded RW. If they go for it and he’s in midfield, it leaves glaring weaknesses, but if they don’t play him there it’s starting the game hoping they can stop us and worried they can’t.

 

Apparently trying to patch up sima and matondo to get them on the pitch and even pushing Ryan jack man none of them fit * wild. Sounds like pure desperation!
