I quite like him but he's been rotten in the last 2 games. The lack of quality we have out wide is shocking

Would be very surprised if he wasn't away this summer

Think he just needs game time to get up to speed, he is a greedy player and needs to pass earlier but he has a lot of skill and hopefully his decision making will improve with age.

Been an issue for a lot of the team this season.
Watching kyogos runs and getting raging....aye kyogo getting raging...it's no wonder we end up struggling.
Whether that's players not aware or confident enough is not an excuse.

I i like palma but he hasn't kicked a ball since new year

Starting to think that too, change of agency is probably another clue. I know he has been poor when he came on recently but I still would have thought he might have been more involved.

Only back from injury and he took a few games to get going with us at the start of the season but he’s still the most creative winger we have with 9 goals & 10 assists.

Doubt he’ll be going anywhere but we definitely need a quality winger brought in.

Would recoup money if we can. He can leave along with M. Johnston and Yang.

Really need to get more quality in the wide areas.

Agreed he has been poor lately when he has got on. Have to wonder if the fact that its public now that Rodgers doesn't see him as the type of winger he wants is a factor. Shame really as I think he is a decent player but it wouldn't surprise me if he was sold this summer.

Had great stats pre winter break. And personally thought, after watching how quick and how hard he worked against Madrid, that being too slow and lazy was nonsense.
He came kn a bit looking like a me me me typenof guy but he isn't really.
Just lacks a bit of awareness and conpisure.

Great cross on him and if he could get his shooting quicker and more accurate he can be good signing

Some of his decision making at times is poor and he has a tendency to switch off at times, but I've also seen enough glimpses of class that makes me think there is a talent there. His isn't a solution to our problems by any means but I wouldn't object to us keeping him for another season, maybe sending him out on loan. I dont see any potential in Yang sad to say but I do in Palma.

It is fair to say that recently he has been really poor in his sub appearances but I do think earlier in the season people were extremely harsh on Palma.

Where he didn’t keep up his good early form every game he would put some quality balls in to the box begging for someone to just finish them off but we would have absolutely no one trying to attack them, not the striker, not the opposite winger and no midfield runners.

Overall this feels like another recruitment failure in terms of player type. We had a very similar player in Haksabanovic who didn’t fit how we wanted to play and still signed Palma. It was well documented we wanted to sign Podence who was a quick tricky winger and very different to Palma.

I also think he would be a different player with a traditional overlapping left full back behind him. Taylor always wants to come inside and is slow and unable to overlap so doesn’t suit playing with a winger looking to come inside and create, you need one of those players to have the legs to go to the byline and create space for the other.

Has looked awkward coming on last few weeks. Hopefully Daizen comes back in to see us through. We absolutely need a stand out wide player signed and the best of rest cant play with him.

I know the game was all but over and it was a short cameo but would be interested in Palma being tried off the right. He put a couple of cracking balls in from there including the one Maeda nearly knocked in off the Hearts defender. It was a really hard delivery to defend.

I am not talking about for next week or nothing but if he is going to be here next season.

Aye he played well when he came on, probably his best cameo since January. Beat a couple of guys and put in 3/4 good deliveries, opened the play up a couple of times as well in midfield areas from deep.

He's probably the top dribbler in the League which is funny since a lot of our fans don't class him as that.

He's 5th in the League for most successful dribbles but he's played much less than the guys above him.

    Youan 61 in 2139 minutes
    Kennedy 56 in 2574 minutes
    Phillips 48 in 2520 minutes
    Armstrong 47 in 2870 minutes
    Palma 45 in 1325 minutes

If he played similar game time to them say 2500 minutes he'd be on 85.

Nobody below him is that close to him either guys like Boyle and Sima are closer to half the amount he does.

    Quite surprising.

Feels like Yang would be higher or possible even Kuhn and Maeda also probably as they run with more pace but deceptive probably since he squares guys up and beats them slower rather than running at them with the ball from distance.

His dribbling stats are mental actually, even compared to Jota, last season Jota played over 800 more minutes in the League than Palma has this season and Jota only had 48 successful dribbles. So Palma even beating men at 1.5 times the rate Jota *

I think he's a decent player, not sure he suits us though. Do wonder if he'd be better playing behind a striker as his crosses aren't the greatest.

Even then when people say that though, he's 3rd in the League and way ahead of our other wide players.

This is him compared to our other players for crossing, guys who have actually crossed a ball

Kuhn is 0.7, Abada was 0.4

Those stats are per 90 minutes.

    Palma alone 2.74 per game
Forrest, Yang, Maeda, Kuhn and Abada if you combined all the crossing per game they do individually into one player would only be 4.12

Big chances created also, theres only really one guy Armstrong from Kilmarnock close to him
