Mbappe's been poor the two Legs, he should have been rubbing his hands at playing Dortmund wanting to get to the final with his own club but he's not kicked on in his career from years ago.

Still plays at the same level, a great level but not kicked on.

PSG though...same old same old from them.

 

Great for Dortmund, probably the biggest shock of a team reaching the final since the Porto/Monaco final.

Some defensive performance there. Especially both centre backs.

 

Ousmane Dembele is * pretty much every time I see him. Never seems to offer anything worthwhile.

 

That Hummel is some player

 

Two footed but equally clumsy with both, always looks like he's panicked and slack on the ball.

 

Great result, now for Bayern I guess to win. Not a fan of Bayern but dislike Madrid way more. Plus an all German final at Wembley will be funny.

I don't know why Ferdinand is arguing that is a penalty. The contact is outside the box. You can see grass behind Hummel's leg and the gap to the line.

The contact is the other side of Hummel's leg and further outside the box. Not by far, but it is clearly outside.

 

Same, was definitely out, probably as close as it gets though and likely within 1cm of touching the line but would have been harsh to say it was on the line and give a penalty.

 

Those Dortmund * should be ashamed of themselves after what they put me through in 2022.

Mon the Dortmund. Wonderful club.

Having watched them many times in the Bundesliga this season, the contrast in their set up and defensive deficiencies from domestic to continental football is absolutely astonishing.

They look like conceding any time the opposition have the ball in Germany, yet in Europe they look like they’d rather die before conceding.

Maybe there’s an obligation on them domestically to attack and be the aggressor, where as in Europe it’s generally accepted if they sit back and counter? Who knows, but it’s like watching a different team.

 

My mate from work who's now in a different city is a passionate BvB fan. I'll be sending him a congratulatory e-mail.

Here's hoping Real get dumped out too.

 

Possibly, I want us to be the aggressor in the league and I'd be a bit annoyed if we played defensively to Aberdeen. But in the Champions league I accept it as I think we'd struggle otherwise.

 

Hope Dortmund do it, think they'll have a better chance against Bayern. Do have a feeling Real will get there, even though I like Real, I still want Dortmund to do it, but even though there defence was brilliant, PSG passed up way too many good chances, ai don't see Real doing that.
