    He was decent enough.

He did look slow up against Shankland at times which is quite an issue, remember one point first half where he was beaten for pace and CCV nailed him out. Don't think it was directly with Shankland, mind.

Listen, he is what he is. We all know the level he's at. If we win the title he will have played his part.

Was one part in the first half he was beaten to a ball he should have won, think it was like a long diagonal in behind him, then the wee guy Vargas was it took him on down the wing and he probably should have took the ball off him then but he got past him and turned him into the box and we ended up conceding a corner.

Unaccaptable really for me as a Celtic centre-back to be getting done basically 3 times off a wee average player in one run. Could have won the ball first time, then in a run with a wee guy thats not even that quick or that should have nudged him off the ball with ease and didn't then to get turned and him in behind you in the box. That type of thing proabably hasn't happened to CCV once and he's been here 3 year.

Other than that he was good, seemed to benefit from McGregor, Hatate, Taylor and Forrest playing great stuff ahead of him and being able to just slide passes into any of them and they barely gave away a ball all day, were like the harlem globetrotters compared to the football we've been watching all season.

He was good today, no issues.

Feels as if some fans just want to get on his back for the sake of it, in the stadium and further afield. Guy next to me kept shouting at him before he’d even done anything with the ball. Very weird.

That was Vargas, who is rapid tbh, but I get where you're coming from on general.

It makes you realise how quick Starfelt was for a CB.

He is fast but in that situation he had the opportunity to use his body to his advantage and couldn't.

But aye, he was decent. But its still glaringly obvious that if he's properly tested or under it we need better. Sure it'll be sorted in the summer....

He gave me the fear a few times yesterday. Be amazed if he starts next year.

He needs to bulk up a bit and use his strength. Built like the side of a fiver.

Vargas absolutely bullied him early on to win a corner when Scales was the favourite to deal with it.

He was fine yesterday but he just gives me the fear.

Vargas bullied him and Taylor early on in the game. Happy to have them as squad players just not starters

Thought him and CCV were rock solid, can't mind anything wrong in his game, brilliant defensive display from all I thought.

The bit where Vargas done him and CCV cleared for the corner...I'm sure he got a shout from CCV to take him wide so that CCV could get to the ball and clear. Scales then went shoulder to shoulder with Vargas taking him wide and while Vargas eventually got past him it gave CCV time to clear the ball. Looked like good parternship to me not bad play by Scales.

Hopefully he scores this week aswel. A goal against Kilmarnock would be good but his season he's had deserves a goal against the mutants.

If we go on to win the title this season then Liam Scales will have put in a massive contribution to it. Stepped in and stepped up when others couldn't.

Maybe a goal as well. I think if memory serves me correctly that he scored for Aberdeen in a win for them towards the end of last season so it is would be remarkable if he could repeat that feat this weekend roughly one year on.

A wee bit more belief and tighter passing and he’s golden.

I think his defensive side is good, from where he was to now it’s been a leap and he’s progressed well and will only get better alongside Cam.

His passing range lacks hugely though, much more needed there but not insurmountable.
His forward drives are getting better along with his first touch to save areas.

I get he’s not an attractive option for some but he’s a * hard worker, an honest defender and will run through a wall for this team!

Very poor today. Didn’t inspire confidence in the defence.
