Spurs need to back him if they want to get anywhere, he’s done a great job to get where they have this season after losing Kane and not replacing him.

Looks like they’ve ran out of legs though and they got injuries at bad times. He’ll never be back here though, plenty clubs down South and abroad will take a punt on him if he gets sacked which I think Spurs would be daft to do.

 

I’m not a big EPL fan by any stretch but is 5th not considered a perfect season for Spurs? 4th would be exceptional for Spurs but they are hardly any better then that as a club. I know they had a purple patch a few seasons back where they finished 2nd and got to CL final but they are nowhere near that kind of standard and would be lucky to ever do either again

 

Aye he’s had a very solid season. Nothing spectacular. I’d expect him to get top 4 comfortably next season if he’s able to bring in a few more players to suit his style.

 

Rough start for Ange again today. 1-0 down at Anfield and second best by some distance so far. Has the look of a bruising one this afternoon.

Ange is simply too stubborn. He needs better players but their defending is * poor and has been for months.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat but he needs to learn to adapt. I've always said the 'Plan A' only thing is suicidal. If he wants to be an elite manager he needs to realise that there's more to the game than flat out attack, otherwise he's just another Bielsa.

You can't expect to just outscore teams in the EPL and become champions. There are too many good teams and managers. It doesn't work.

They are a mess. If this ends up 5 or so it could unravel very quickly for him.

 

He deserves time to bring in his own players for the system he wants to play. Player for player finishing 5-7th feels about right.

He really does need a plan B. Going toe to toe with better teams looking to go forward at every opportunity as fast as possible just isn't going to work. And playing like this against the top teams he is liable for a real pumping quite a few times a season which fans won't tolerate.

The challenge he will face next season is that the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea and Newcastle will probably all improve and I dont see him gaining on the top 3.

 

No chance would I take him back.

His defensive style is at best pub league, was * with us, especially in Europe and now in England.
