But to avoid circularity, we have to have a good reason for putting Hart higher on the scale of risk. That's the fundamental point, really, that we can estimate what that scale of risk is based on his passing; but we don't know for sure. Forrest's comments suggest that Hart might not actually be where we think he is in that scale.

I'm not saying your assessment is wrong; I'm just saying we should acknowledge a certain degree of uncertainty here. We don't really have all the information.

Manchester City are set to offer Joe Hart an emotional return to the Etihad.

The former England No.1 hopes to hang up his gloves at the end of the season as a Double winner as Celtic attempt to retain the title and add the Scottish Cup. And Premier League champions City want to hand their ex-title-winning keeper a chance to come back to the North West of England. The offer will likely be for a non-footballing capacity or an ambassadorial role as Hart remains against a coaching role and City are ready to hold talks

The 37-year-old has still to decide what direction he will go when he retires. Hart won two Premiership titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups in his 11 years at City. The big keeper also hinted earlier this week there could be a chance of him remaining at Celtic Park and he has already discussed that with Brendan Rodgers

It remains to be seen where that would be as Hart has still to do any coaches badges and has hinted that is unlikely to be his future career path. Celtic have two coaching positions vacancies just now, as they are looking for an under-18 coach and somebody to come in and replace Darren O’Dea, who has moved up from the B team to become the club’s pathway manager

    It should've been for us!

Understand he may want to move back to England and to an area where he has spent a lot of his life though and for a club like City.

Hopefully he could whisper in more City youngsters about coming here. That'd be massive.

Model pro. Does more than stand between the sticks and him leaving will be felt in ways some may not realise.

This comment from Matt O says it all for me.

"I actually asked Joe, if there's anywhere else like this and he said no. He's played at the highest level with the best players but it shows the passion and love for Celtic. Naturally you get sucked in and fall in love with the club.

No one realises how big the club is until you get here. My first day here, I was viewing properties and there were builders running after me! I wasn't used to that at all.

It's that intensity and passion from people, it sucks you right in. So, I've been on love with the club for some time. Hopefully that shows by dedication and performance. I'm really enjoying my time here and hopefully I still will." - Matt O'Riley.

I was probably his biggest critic first half of the season but he’s really shown his class and why he was playing at the highest level since the winter break. He’s been class

It'll go to O'Riley and rightfully so, but Hart has a big claim for our POTY this season.

    Been incredible since Christmas.
