Second half of the season has been pish but what do you expect when you sign Timo Werner

 

Quite arrogant saying he doesn't care about set-pieces.. it's a big part of the game.

Amateurish from Ange tbh

The pressure will be majorly on him if they continue to struggle this season and don't start the next one well.

They look so open every week and aren't even playing "Ange ball" to compensate for it.

One thing that shocks me is how slow and laborious they look. The intensity is gone, there's no quick free kicks, corners or throw ins. Nothing like it was during his time here.

 

Never seen him so angry. Absolutely raging at some of his players there.

 

He looks * fuming. Never seen him like that before. Singling out a few of them there screaming at them to stop passing it back.

 

Yup he's run out of patience with these players.

 

I'd take him back if Spurs bagged him

 

Aye, his will isn't enough in that league.

Players like Johnston aren't good enough either..

Will be interesting if he can build anything at Spurs, it will depend on backing but will also need Ange to be less idealistic.. if he doesn't like working on set plays he should employ someone to do it for him.

Another defeat it’s looking like. Three on the bounce now. Last two in London derbies as well. Pressure will be mounting.

 

Was always gonna turn out like this. He's a good manager but so are Conte and Mourinho and their comments on the culture at that club should have been a big enough warning to him.

2 of next 3 games are Liverpool and City. He'll be lucky to last till end of season way things are going

 

He's had far worse debut seasons tbh. Taking Yokohama FM from 5th to 12th being one. Needs the summer to keep tweaking the squad to his liking...if he gets backed.

 

I see the unbelievably arrogant Jonathan Liew still hasn't got over the fact that Spurs appointed Ange. Yet again he's whining on because a PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB should have the audacity to hire a manager "who made his reputation beating the likes of Dundee, Kuwait and Urawa Red Diamonds". He also claims that if Spurs started the season the way they are playing now then Ange wouldn't have lasted the campaign. Possibly not, but they didn't start the season like that did they Jonathan. It's actually embarrassing watching this guy sneering and oozing with contempt every time he talks about Postecoglou. He's supposed to be a professional after all but his pettiness just highlights his own inadequacies.

 

He's done about as much as can be done with the squad at his disposal. Spurs don't have the players to win the league and 5th place is their limit right now. I can't think of any managers available to a club like Spurs who could have done much better.

 

The issue is the players have stopped working as hard as they were at the start of the season.
It's not a new thing at spurs either.It's as if they will try for a while and then just fall back into their comfort zones. The attitude around the whole club stinks, not even someone as good as Ange has been able to change their loser mentality.

 

Aye, he's got them near enough in the Champions League after losing the club's best player at the start of his tenure.

I don't think he really won't care about set pieces either, he just won't let the media focus in on them. It's patently obvious that the media side of the job is one aspect Ange resents.

 

Needs a stronger squad with players who can come on and bring that same intensity.
Had relatively small squad if first team players with several getting injured.
He's done a great job with what he's had and as plenty have said.....second season is where you'll see it.
