We should be pumping our women's team with money, too.

There's no excuses with the cash reserves we have to not be dominating the men's and women's game in Scotland.

 

we don't need to pump the women's team with cash. I honestly think an additional 1m per year (which we can afford) would have us steamroll the league. Our top goal scorer won't leave at the end of each season then.

 

I very rarely watch women’s football so unsure what the current standard is like and trying not to be disrespectful but that was incredibly poor football.
Both teams had ok shape at times but positional awareness, decision making and individual quality was lacking.

I understand the drive to promote the woman’s game but this done nothing for me personally.
The national stadium is a huge stage for football, BBC coverage midday Saturday yet the product on display doesn’t fit.

 

A painfull watch.

 

I find it quite jarring watching the woman's game when it is a big tournament. Has all the production value and really not the level of football for the spectacle.

It does have value though and it inspires young girls to get into it.

The pitch should be brought in just a little.

The goals should be downsized.

The ball should be a size down too.

 

I'd say matches between Celtic and Rangers are usually better but still bad. If you watched the WSL it's better than this, but even then it's dominated by Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City. The players with natural ability are at them, Barca or Lyon. It's a bit slow but technically solid. I'd doubt the players at us or the Huns are good enough for the teams below them who generally are a bit *. I think if either played Chelsea they would concede double figures.

 

goals downsized? Why, it's not like there is a super amount of goals in it. I think that would be dull.

 

The average height of women is a good bit smaller and the goalkeepers seem to struggle with the sheer size of them.
