Our friends stayed in the Jupiter...great bcoz it's all inclusive for kids but my boys have grown up so the wife and I prefer self catering so we can eat out. We were in Erin's isle ..it's some size of pub. The night we were in a group of travellers started fighting with staff bcoz the weren't getting served anymore..the girls were worse, actually attacked the bouncer..daft bint threw a bottle that just missed my boy..I went * mental. If you like Indian go to the clay oven..food is outstanding.

Off here in September so will definitely try the Clay oven as also good reviews. Any other recommendations for dinner?

I'm staying at the beach down the street from Jinkys.

Going through to Lisbon for the day & doing the Stadio Nacional before it gets renovated.

At the opposite end of the strip from jinkys as you walk down the hill to the beach there's a really decent Italian..I can't remember it's name tho...I also thought fat cat's was really decent pub grub. Also if you walk from jinkys up the hill towards the Lidl you take a right and walk along to the big roundabout there's a brilliant Chinese restaurant...also a wee Irish bar on the left as you walk to the Chinese that's got a great atmosphere.

Just booked to go to Japan straight after going to Melbourne. Going to do a few days in Osaka and Kyoto, then head down to Hiroshima to see the Itsukushima Shrine, and the Atomic Bomb Dome. Then head up to Tokyo and then finally Sapporo.
