happy to admit he's proved me wrong! on the base of it people were right to criticize bringing in Norwich's 3rd choice striker and to be fair it was more anger towards the board than the player himself.

Would love us to sign him!

A/ We would potentially want to keep him when the dust settled on 1st Feb
B/ MJ could be sold for over 5m on the 1st Feb

Even when he was in to the box second half and got hurt in the challenge...has to be smarter and take it away from his man. The Palma header as well back post, hold your position ..

 

That performance is what I’ve saw countless times for Ireland. Still not convinced

I am convinced and think we should sign him if he's affordable. Not at his best today but he troubled their defence. The defence is the reason the win wasn't more comfortable, that's not on Idah.

 

What are people seeing that I'm not?.

 

Send him back to Norwich we need better.

 

He’s effective in that he’s physical and we will create chances meaning he’ll get a couple over a season. His ability, however, is seriously limited. He’s not a natural finisher and his touch and control is seriously underwhelming.

I’d sign him if he was available for a reasonable price but he’s very much a 2nd- if not 3rd - choice striker.

 

He lacks composure and experience, he could turn out good but £6M+ is steep for a back up. Would rather we push the boat out for another striker and get Miovski in.

 

Occasion got to him

 

Aye he was rotten today, easily his worst performance since joining us.

I'm still leaning towards buying him, but he needs to be better than that.

He's better than Oh but he's still massively lacking. Said it in the match thread, but he's not a killer. He misses far too many chances, or * up attacks by taking too long to make a decision.

Had a couple of great games for us but he's largely been fairly average. If Norwich are looking for £5m+ then forget it.

 

Don't think theres much in it between him and Miovski tbh. Look about the same level.

 

Not a bad player but not what we need to move forward in likes of Europe.

People got so used how poor we have been this season that him doing ok is seen as success. Could be a squad player but we won't pay that for a squad player

 

Would trust Miovski in front of goal. I don't trust Idah.

 

If he’s not good enough for Norwich then he’s not good enough for Celtic. Miovski is the better option.

 

That's fair. But worth considering Idah has outscored him since January also I think with less game time though tbf Miovski is playing in a more limited team. I'd probably lean more towards buying Miovski myself tbh.

 

Miovski and Idah are different kind of players.
Miovski for me has better movement and pace.
Idah just needs that little bit composure and awareness.
Only a year difference in age.

I'd take idah as I think he is a good option and a bit old school. But neither are ready to be first choice at celtic
