James Forrest

Useful to have for the run in and for one final year next year. A great servant.

 

He has had some good cameo appearces off the bench recently and given there is likely to be a big turnouver in plateres leavinga dn coming this summer his experiecne behind the scenes could also be very important next season as well.

 

Think his experience is going to be needed at times in the run in..

All our wingers bar him are fairly inexperienced.

He looks sharp which is great..

 

Was it not about this time last season he went on a scoring spree? Would be beautiful if he did it again.

I’d play Vata ahead of Yang.

 

No. In fact, Forrest was out for a fair chunk of the seasona round this point last year. Missed the whole of March right through to til near the end, only returning 2 games before the end of the season (3 incl Scottich Cup Final), in mid-May.

And the 4 goals he scored last season were all in October 2022, when he scored a hatrick v Hibs and then scored against Hearts in the necxt game.

Would be great to have him hit some goal-scoring form again though in the remaining games.

 

Always found it strange that Vata didn’t get more of a chance, unless it was to do with him not signing a new contract

 

I think Forrest will come on and score either in the Semi or the Final

Excellent when he came on. Him and Hatate turned that 2nd half until they both went off.

 

Love the wee man. Has to be ahead of Yang for the run in

 

Most positive wide player in the game. 1 goal, 2 other shots on target and involved in the O'Riley goal.

 

Showed up when he was needed. Has to start until the end of the season if Maeda is out.

 

One player who can hold his head high

 

A real positive.

 

Best decision Rodgers made was putting him on before Palma, wee man was excellent and created everything.
