I'd honestly be resting CCV and Hatate and maybe Kyogo.. trying to keep these guys fit and unharmed for the league run is far more important than the Cup. Just my feeling this season with so much money on the line for the league..

I'd like to overtake these * imaginary record trophy haul, then act like it is nothing lol. Then congratulate the most successful club in the world, Al Ahly.

 

Is that counting the Harry Ramsden cup too? Bit fishy if it is. If we'd been in it we'd have battered them.

Not too bothered about that and it will take care of itself in due course. Title all that matters for me.

Saying this we should and I expect us to beat the sheep..

 

Assuming we have a week of rest after the semi finals, I wouldn't rest anyone. I don't think we're good enough to assume we can beat anyone without our key players and there's really no reason if there's a week between games. Different if we are midweek immediately after.

 

I know we can't just play the kids and concede this but it's a pain in * especially with the injuries we've had.

 

Don't get this attitude, it's the business end of the season and it's exactly where we want to be.

 

And winning and getting good results is a lovely infectious sporting habit, get a fine result with the team on form on Saturday and it sets us up to winning the remaining league games.

 

It's the Scottish Cup semi-final. When did we ever not treat that seriously?

Yes, thats the team for me too.

Not for me, full strength from the off, we should be scudding these * by half time, then get the likes of CCV etc off at HT.

 

I get it it's important. But with league giving direct entry into the champions league and the money on offer and it meaning the huns are unlikely to get it and with our injuries this season I wouldn't be that bothered if we didn't win the cup and won the league.

Obviously chucking this doesn't guarantee the league though so we have to go for it.

Momentum is massive just now. Full strength, a good performance and a few goals.

 

I quite fancy winning this game, get Ralston and Welsh out that team. CCV and Nawrocki all day long, need games together for the run in. AJ at right back. Hatate in for Bernardo and Palma in for Forrest. I'd also start Kyogo as well. Idah, Forrest, Bernardo, Calmac and whoever else on as subs in the 2nd half.
