No bother Pete,
I've a couple of videos to post once i figure out how, I bought a cheap trail cam from Temu a while back and tried it out in the woods last week, i fixed it to a branch of a tree that had blown down in a storm and the camera was pointing down the length of the trunk, it triggered a few times in the four nights it was left out, there was a few mice there feeding on the seeds and peanuts i left there as bait, then as i watched each short video i near fell of the chair when a big Badger walked the length of the trunk and got stuck into the bait, it appeared again twice the next night, i've never seen one in the flesh before so was delighted to capture this one on film.

 

Brilliant stuff Johnie, just brilliant, i remember how excited i was when i saw my first badger, i still get a massive buzz seeing one of my favourite animals

 

A few from Hazelwood.

 

Today was my first full day of mine and Ruby’s latest adventure in the highlands for a week this time.
Weather not great but could be worse. I was delighted to see 2 Red Throated Divers on a cool loch.
More highlights were 5 Red Squirrel in a woodland, 2 more in a garden seen at the end of walk.
Also seen were a neat pocket of Wheatear , a pair of Stonechat , 2 Red Kite , flocks of 200 plus and 40 plus Pink Footed Geese and both Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.

It's really something else at this time of year with the canopy filling in with fresh light green leafage and the birdlife singing their hearts out.
