Daizen Maeda

This is * news and a big worry - particularly when he has had Tavernier on toast every game.

His pace, his tracking back, his energy. We don't have anyone else that comes close.

Time for Brendan to earn his money

 

Awful news.

We don't necessarily need him for teams that constantly camp in and don't allow the space behind. But we do for the huns game.

We'll need Palma to hit the ground running and put in a defensive shift against them.

 

This is a massive blow especially when playing them .

 

What the * is going on? Why do we stumble from one injury crisis to another, the gods don’t want us to win this * league.

 

It truly is unreal this season and just when for the first time all season we looked like we might finally be about to be at full strength. Losing Maeda with his pace and work rate is a huge blow. Lets all keep our fingers crossed its not serious and he does make it back soon.

 

As long as he's ready for the next hun game, we'll manage just fine till then.

 

Hopefully fit for the Huns..

But maybe if Palma comes back firing, it could be a small blessing v the other teams..

As Maeda can be absolutely woeful at times, I love him but isn't suited to a low block..

Still, hope it isn't serious.

 

It's a hamstring tendon injury il be surprised if he doesn't miss the rest of the season.


BR had horrific injuries at Leicester too. Maybe training is too intense

 

Maeda is great at pinning that *, captain disappointed back, but I feel like others could easily cause him problems too, simply by being brave.

Stokes gave him fits fs, and is slower than Palma. Well maybe. Point stands though. If you're brave and take the * on, you'll have success, and he shites his pants.

 

Aye Rodgers talking about 'his availability for the season' didn't sound promising. Have a feeling his season may be finished.

 

I hope I’m wrong but I fear his season might be done.
For tendon type injuries, it can take much longer because tendons take longer to heal. Around 6-12 weeks.

 

FFFFUUUUUU.... We can never have a truly healthy squad. Is Palma back?

 

Terrible news tbh. Another blow that we badly didn’t need.

 

I know it's difficult but we need to be positive and hope that with the squad we have that we can still go on and win 6 games which will give us the league .

In Brendan we trust...

 

We will miss him tracking back as nobody does it as good as him. Hopefully he will make a miraculous

 

Really disappointing. We've seen the impact on how well we press when he's in the team compared to when he was out earlier in the season.

Altho got in the car anf turned the radio on and there were talking bout a celtic player and a hamstring injury and that auld * Keevins was saying this will be us * for winning league or cup. Was absolutely distraught thinking it was CCV. So I was slightly relived to hear it was Maeda. Hopefully Palma comes back in with his early season form.

 

He offered * all until his free kick in 90th min at new year game. Palma's attacking abilities will force him backwards.

 

We have had such bad luck with injuries this year

 

Gutted, absolutely gutted. Hope we see him back before end of the season, he's fecking massive for us imo.
