Not unhelpful when it comes to a fee anyway. Hope he keeps this up the remaining games, West Brom fans will be demanding they pay up for him.

 

Won’t really matter what it adds to his fee to be honest. Not as if we’ll be spending it in the summer.

I reckon we’ll get a decent fee for him tbh, even if West Brom don’t go up surely a newly promoted team or lower premiership team would be keen on him after the impact he’s made there. Hope he it works out for the lad regardless

Keep it up for another month and we will get a buyer. Infact there will only be a
maximum of 7 games if they make the play offs as they only have 4 left in the league.

Fair play to him he has done well but a permanent move is what he needs. We should be pushing for a decent fee with 2 years on his deal but realistically see getting any sort of £3m plus fee is far more than anybody would have expected.

His form probably merits double that given the league he’s been in right enough. The thing is if West Brom don’t go up they aren’t in a good financial position.

 

With Daizen injured I think we should recall him, need every option available to us

Mikey Johnston is "one of the best talents" to come out of Celtic, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Johnston has been named English Championship Player of the Month for his performances at West Brom. The winger was sent out on-loan during the winter transfer window after failing to cement a regular starting spot in Rodgers' side.

Despite that, the Hoops boss is hoping Johnston, who has scored seven times from his 14 appearances down south, can continue his strong form and return to Celtic ready to make a positive impact next season.

"What he has demonstrated is no surprise," Rodgers revealed. "He is one of the best talents to come out of this academy, he is quick, direct, can score goals.


So for him to get that award - there's some outstanding players in the Championship - shows you how well he has done.

"Hopefully he can continue with that and come back to Celtic in the summer and feel really energised again, full of confidence, and be ready to make an impact."

Upon receiving the reward, the 24-year-old said: “I’m absolutely delighted to win this individual award, but I’d like to give credit to my team-mates and the manager here.

“Everyone was so quick to welcome me. That then allowed me to hit the ground running and thankfully I’ve been able to put in some decent performances and score a few goals.

“We had a really good March and those results helped put us in the strong position we find ourselves in today.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time here and I want to keep impressing and improving. We’re all focused on making sure the next few weeks are successful for the club.”

 

I want a decent fee and a decent sell on.

He's had his time here and it hasn't worked out even though he's been given more chances than all academy players from the last ten years combined.

 

I agree, his stock has never been higher. Sell him and get a good fee.

 

I'd love for him to come back and star for us. I just dont think we would allow it.

I say that given the toxicity surrounding him before and the fact he's had a lot of chances. I think he's clearly improved in both his consistency and availability, and I do think he made a decent contribution in his limited appearances for us this season. Its possible the WBA loan move has helped him grow further into a player who might be able to do it at us, but as I said, I don't think we have the patience to make it feasible and he'd soon be a whipping boy if he has a couple of bad games. It could become toxic very fast

Sell for a decent fee.

 

With that award in his locker his Ireland caps we should be able to get about £5m for him with a bit of a sell on. If we can, get rid. Let the guy move on because it’s never going to work for him here. This, coming from someone who’s been a fan of his since day 1.
