As usual, pick and choose when it suits them. It's the fact that VAR gets involved and sends the ref to the monitor that's even worse for me. The brass neck of doing that and not even checking the attacking phase of play is a disgrace. Cheating of the highest order.

 

I’m not going to lie, I do think it’s a penalty. However, I don’t think it’s a clear and obvious error and the decision on the pitch should have remained.

Not only did he touch the ball twice,it was still moving when he kicked it.Absolutely shocking the VAR team should be quizzed on this specific incident.

These are the exact moments we need to be more wise. Get all the players screaming, the management going mad. Make a huge fuss before we take the free kick forcing vars hand. Fact CCV got up because he's solid led them not to bother checking as the guy behind var was to busy just watching the match, not checking for incidents like that. Making a fuss brings it to their attention.

 

It's something we never do, you see one of our players down after a heavy tackle players around barking at the ref and our players just walk by and don't even acknowledge it sometimes,
