Who was Beaton roaring at after he give the penalty. He looked angry.

    It's every week now.

Never a pen and for me it is cheating at this point. And I've never been one to scream and shout about that side of things.

But it's happening week in week out. Great opportunity for them to get back into the game of course it'll be given.

    Farce.

Still don't understand the rules of game myself.

Like if that var decision is to give a pen, surely AJ is being looked at for a red as well?

Forgetting the fact AJ himself is on his way down falling backwards, that leg even if high is never in that exact scenario in every game he plays for the rest of his life ever touching an opposition player with enough force at their knee, to seize up both legs and have them go down like some one has come in two footed and wrapped around their ankles.

    * hun *

I’m 100% against the grain with this opinion but that was a penalty all day long. He caught him in the thigh. Not a bookable offence, and he could have easily dished out a yellow as well and not much would be argued bout giving a second yellow there.

What * got me, majorly, they got zero bookings. We had 4. They had challenges that were let away with stuff we got booked for, the niggly fouls that we were getting called for, they weren’t.

Even the disallowed goal, look where Beaton is for that foul originally, and where he was looking. He seen it, and let it go, he made the decision on the pitch in real time and he had a * perfect view looking on at it yards away. When it goes to VAR it needs to be pulled up, but he had a better view and more scrutiny of it where he was originally. And thats what happened that full 2nd half, 1st half he was similar but not to that extent.

No surprise you think it was a pen

    Noticed that too.

To me it smacked of someone who knew he was giving the wrong decision and was doubling down on it

Almost as bad as penalty was the Yang head knock, he was looking directly at it but waited to see if Rangers got an advantage first before calling it back.
The commentators said 'what was he waiting for' a Rangers goal is the simple answer.

I rewatched that bit last night and I think he was telling a rangers player to * off as they were saying it should be a red for AJ.

Was it Silva in the first half, lay on the deck in our box as well, holding his leg - * stopped the game quicker for that, when he isn't meant to.

So are you saying you can’t make contact with a player after you’ve won/made contact with the ball first? Can anyone confirm the rules of the game here cause to my knowledge it’s a contact sport and you can make contact with a player after winning the ball first…. I could be wrong though

I can see how it would be given tbf but think it would be a mistake. If I slide in and take the ball then player it is a good tackle, it happens in the same action. The contact was minimal too.
With context though, you can see he has been at it all game, to the point Boyd called him an embarrassment.

Beaton had set us up to give us a red with the bookings he gave.

As long as we are complicit by playing in a rigged league we will continually be shafted every season before a ball is kicked.leave it. leave them to it. Play in friendlies and tournaments.also it will give us massive publicity when media ask why we arent playing in the league and we show them the honest mistakes youtube vids. I know its hypothetical but we should hand in our 2 year notice to leave NOW we can always retract it once we have fair officials. But thats never gonna happen. As i said here im not putting my heart into supporting my team when to Quote mark knopfler of dire straits the dice was loaded from the start.are the club calling out yesterdays fiasco cheating are they *. Off your knees celtic for fucksake. COYBIG HH

You could see yday they kept showing the angle where they don’t show him winning the ball it was a second after and you just see the slight contact with silva, but the other angle you clearly see him win the ball first as he’s going down and his follow through barely touches silva as he tries pull his leg back. IMO never a peno if it’s the follow through from winning the ball, where’s his leg meant to go? But if anyone could post the exact rules I’d be interested to see it

When Johnston wins the ball first, which he did, Silva is no longer in control of the ball. Then you could argue that Silva has then fouled Johnston. I don’t think Johnston is fouled by the way, but it’s also never a penalty. It’s a defender making a good challenge, winning the ball, and like all other contact sport, the contact afterwards is part of the game. Silva threw himself to the floor and was always looking to go down. Like he had the whole game the cheating * that he is. Our fans actually claiming it is penalty are equally embarrassing.

That’s my thoughts mate aswell I was just wondering if anyone could get a pic of the actual rules regarding it so we could see exactly the law in black and white. Liverpool didn’t get a penalty a couple weeks ago when Doku studded mcallister to the chest as he won the ball first and that was a much worse incident than yday. They were sly with the replay yday showing one angle from instantly after AJ made contact with the ball but in the other two angles you see him hit the ball then his follow through barely catches silva…. A follow through after he won the ball in the same movement

    * this backward league and the SFA. Never a penalty and the man who pointed to the spot shouldn’t ever have been in the position to do so. His co-pilot also a known Rangers supporter. What the * sort of pantomime is this?

But we will still win the league and it will taste sweeter than a pack of skittles
