Had a fantastic first half, faded in the second. Still him or CCV for our best player today.

Has there been any games against them he hasn't left tavpen looking like a rabbit in the headlights? Boy must have nightmares about Daizen running at him.

Would to see him on a left hand side where his energy isn't being used to get back and defend and do the job of two players.

Surely can’t watch his contribution today and think that. He’s been * excellent against them, and even when he was just back from injury the New Year game and having a nightmare, he got Balogun sent off. MotM today for me.

He's exactly what we need in this fixture, for as effective Tavernier is at going forward, we constantly get goals off him defensively. Plus their backline isn't the quickest either.

Brilliant yesterday. The ground he covers is incredible. Against the *, home or away, he is the first name on my team sheet.

Never been a fan of his due to his complete lack of footballing ability. However as has been said, the fact he keeps their most influential player at bay and absolutely terrifies him is worth him playing in-spite of his lack of ability.

Thought he was very good yday, got that goal for us straight away with his pressing and gave them a hard time with his pace in behind, again his final balls were mostly a let down though but all in all thought he done well

Getting him involved in a game that is typically expected to be more open just highlights that his athletic ability is just unmatched.

If he had just a bit more technical ability to him... he'd be a joke of a talent.

But at the same we need better than Taylor down the left in with him... get a solid LB bombing around and we could see more out of Maeda

He’s a player that we will miss massively when he moves on, work rate of 2 players and totally nullifies their main threat every game.

Yes his final ball is pish and lacks technical ability but we will seriously struggle to replace him.

Can tell that loser, Captain disappointed, is terrified of him. He'll genuinely worry about facing Daizen, he knows he has his number.
By far the Huns' best player and Daizen nullifies him and then some.

Unplayable in the 1st, should have done better with the one he hits straight at Butland tho..

    Tavpen terrified of him..

Palma coming back too, gives us another option from the bench too, hopefully he comes back determined and fully firing..ideal when legs are tired.

Thought he was brilliant -- if he could cross a ball he'd incredible.

He's incredible against them, they can't deal with him at all.

Thing is as well, he was showing some of the technique and skills that sometimes you see him pulling off that you aren’t used to seeing from him. Think getting that 20 seconds in, his confidence was through the roof

His goals and assists are surprisingly high since he's not really that type of player. 43 goals and assists in 101 games for us.
