For me if we could get Idah for about 5m I think we should sign him and look to off load Oh. Doubt that will happen but would be happy if it did.

Did very well when he came on aside from his goal got down the line twice and put in really good balls into the box. Will be interesting to see how much Norwich want for him come the end of the season as at this point given the contributions he has made I would be happy to see us sign him especially if we could sell Oh. That would be a clear squad upgrade IMHO.

I don't want to sound like I'm gonna be bashing Idah too much, so I'll say, he's looked better than I thought he would and he's contributed more than expected and he's done well! He's proven he's better than most of us have credit to and well done to him so far, won us a fair few points this season so far.

But! I just don't think he's good enough and will develop much beyond what he is just now. Think he would get massively found out in Europe.

Id personal rather we went and scored a better option, but even if not and we took a "lazy" option, I'd be inclined to sign Miovski at Aberdeen, with loaning Oh to them as part of the deal. We get a player certainly capable in this league and a different option, while also getting Oh some valuable game time without writing him off quite yet.

All very fair mate. When we got Idah in on loan originally I was not happy at all as I just didn't think he would help that much given what I had seen of him mostly playing for Ireland. But like you say there I have been very pleasantly surprised with just how well he has played in general and he has really contributed some crucial goals. No question if we go on and win this title he will have earned a winners medal.

What you say beyond that I can't really disagree that much. Would he get found out in Europe maybe maybe not. We may well never find out. Personally for me he has done enough that if Norwich ask for something around 5m I would say he is well worth buying and would be a for sure squad upgrade on Oh who I would look to sell.

Now another option would be to buy Miovski from Aberdeen and personally I would happily sell them Oh as part of the deal never mind the loan if it got the deal done. Either option I think would be good moves for us and be clear squad upgrades. However I doubt either will happen. I suspect Norwich will want closer to 10m for Idah which is too much for us and at this point I think we may very well have missed the boat on Mivoski by not signing him in January and think we may likely see him sold to a club outside the spfl.

Apart from the goal he did very little but had no back up tbh. Every 2nd ball whome game we never won.

I actually thought he did alright, was allot more involved than Kyogo and over a shorter period of time.

Without a doubt. He got down the line twice and put in 2 really good crosses off the top of my head. The first one their left back did a good job of blocking Yang getting a good shot off but the second one we probably should have scored from.

Without him there would be no title race right now. He’s contributed far more than any of us imagined back in January. Let’s see what the next 7 hopefully 8 games bring them make a decision.

Hes the type of player who we bring to the club(not to expensive and not really in demand from other clubs)so its either him or someone like him,at least hes shown he has a bit about him.

Still not sure what to make of him.

He took his goal very well and put in a decent cross for Yang. But also thought he could have helped us out a lot more by winning headers from our clearances or holding it up.

He also made a complete * of it when he beat one of their defenders and had that run into the box from the left. Should have got a shot at goal or teed up a teammate, but ended up hitting it out the other side of the box.

For £3m or so I’d say yes but I wouldn’t want him as our main striker.

And the one he made an * off, he actually done * brilliant, until he made an * of it.

He was both wanting the shot and the goal and glory and also thinking should lay it off, and * it completely. Think by the time he realised he didn’t have the time to stop and think what to do he just panicked, tried to shoot when it was too late. Pass was probably still on, panicked and chose the wrong option as well.

For £3m odd, you’re spot on, would have no issue. Seen the idea floated today if MJ keeps up what he’s doing down there to the end of the season, a swap and maybe a small fee along with it due to the contracts of both players could be an option. I’d go for that no problem, and if MJ keeps up absolutely flying down there, Norwich would jump at it as well I imagine. Get a player that looks amazing down there, and shift a guy they don’t want in the slightest and have bombed out.

£5m odd that was getting suggested though, that can get straight to *. If we were choosing between Idah and Miovski for £4m odd, I’d be Miovski still, without a shadow of doubt. I like Idah though, he’s been a big player coming in making a difference 2nd half of the season. Shows the importance of recruitment so much, him and Kuhn while not setting the heather alight, both have showed how important a new guy a different option and an injection of freshness into a squad is.

If we win this league, it’s entirely possible that one of our poorest windows, most disappointing windows and highly criticised and quite rightly at that, would be a major reason we get over the line. Imagine we made an actual effort what it could have done.

I like him. I'd be happy to sign him. Still has a few games left to prove his worth but I'll be surprised if he doesn't.

Hes done great every game except after missing that penalty. Confidence is key with him I think. He'll be full of it after that 3rd goal. Let him play.

Seeing the equaliser going in must have been a bit more devastating for him, through no fault of his own his big moment and stepping up to the plate, adulation and praise wrote in the headlines turned into a sidenote. Hopefully even being on loan he’s comfortable enough in the dressing room to go * mental at those who * it.

That second one was the chance when he robbed Goldson, he has to pick out O’Riley near post. O’Riley had the run on Lundstrum would have had a free shot around edge of 6 yard box on his left, it was a very simple pass square across the box on Idah’s preferred foot and he even had the margin of Yang coming in behind at that point all be it defenders there too. There was no one between Idah and O’Riley, Soutar was too deep.

The more I see that game the more I feel it came down to the same problems we have had all season failed to take our actual chances and gave up two very sloppy goals.

    Our chances:
    1. Maeda one on one with Butland, also had Kyogo goal side of Soutar to his right for a tap in but his shot was poor you either reverse it or pick the far corner.
    2. O’Riley header is a good save by Butland but could he have either got that down or closer to the corner. More a good save.
    3. Kyogo header from Taylor cross, all he has to do is head it the way he’s facing but for some reason tries to direct it.
    4. O’Riley intercepted through ball to Kyogo when Silva hits deck and Johnston booked. It’s a pass O’Riley should make, actually better option would have been hit Kuhn wide right who would have been able to play in Kyogo. Harsh that one but it’s a big chance.
    5. The Idah one above.

Of those five scenarios we should have got at least 2 other goals.

We definitely won the ticket with getting him and not Van Hooijdonk who hasn’t scored for Norwhich or played more than 30 mins.

Sign him up, all the makings for a goalscoring machine.

Nice little finish with the instinctive header. Scoring different types of goals for us and making an impact.

Massive credit to him given the fact his arrival was met with pretty much disdain. Not towards him of course but due to the nature of the deal and the lack of ambition from the board.

Boy has done himself really proud here regardless of how the season ends.
