When did we stop calling a dive a dive though? There's no way there was enough contact there for Silva to to down, it isn't like he dragged him down after he got the original touch.. Johnston won the ball and Silva saw an opportunity to cheat, something he was doing all game.

Anyone explain why the VAR video image give to Beaton removed the actual ball winning moment?

Did this actually happen? Apparently 2 seconds was shown over and over like a * gif image but never showed AJ actually touching the ball.

He gets the ball as he's falling back his angle dictates were his leg is positioned, he can't do anything else, at that point Silva dives into him initiating contact, the original decision was the correct one

We should be pushing to play games at ibrox behind closed doors. Our players and officials arnt safe there as they brain dead fuckwits clearly can't control themselves for 90 mins

 

A bottle was thrown on to the pitch after we were awarded the penalty. John Kennedy pelted with coins in the dugout. The Orcs are a blight on humanity.

 

That is disgusting. The more you see it the more you think how on earth can that be a penalty. And kyogo was denied one last weekend when the contact is clear as day.

 

The original decision is a brilliant decision. What happens after is blatant cheating. Firstly for that wee * walsh to even get involved and then for Beaton to reverse probably the only correct decision of his career is a disgrace.

A wider point as it happens all over but fifa need to step in and encourage refs to tell the var to * off and stick with their original decision if they feel it's right. Can't remember the last time I seen them not overturn it after going to the monitor

 

VAR is just another tool to use against us/use for them. I stupidly thought it was a good thing

 

Guarantee if it was at the other end of the pitch and it was Kyogo that was involved, Beaton wouldn’t have been sent to the monitor, his decision would have stood. The cheating since VAR has came in is off the scale. Really need to
call it out or nothing will change !!

 

Aye I was the same mate. Thought once their ridiculous decisions were being highlighted they would stop if as thr knew they would no longer get away with it but it's been the opposite.

That scenario today was very similar to tynecastle. Huns were in trouble after dropping points at home to motherwell so refs colluded to make sure we never won the game, at half time there had to be a moment we're beathun and to larger extent Walsh decided they would take it upon themselves to 'correct' things today.

Actually suprised they didn't just go the whole hog and throw rule book out the window and give Johnston a 2nd booking for it too

 

Daily record already coming out as to why it was a penalty. No doubt other (hun loving) experts will follow suit. The games a mockery with only one team benefitting from it

 

We need to pull out of paying for it. The system is funded by all 12 Premiership clubs and the percentage the clubs pay is determined by their revenue and such. We pull out of paying for it and the league cannot afford it. Simple.

Same * as last week trying to justify as to why kyogo being chopped in the box last weekend wasn't a penalty. Narrative to suit.
