Liam Scales

Needs to be replaced in the summer.. purple patch was over 5 months ago.

 

Nawrocki had an excellent game at CP against the Huns. I thought they would pull him out the bag for this game but it's time our 20k a week defender gets ahead of scales.

 

He has done well for us, stepped up when we had need, but if he doesn't extend now and leave fair, id not be chasing to make him happen.

Get nawroski in alongside CCV for the remainder

 

Fair play to him. Scales has done a job for us this season and deserves props for getting us through a period when every week he had a revolving door of CB partners... Lagerbielke, Welsh, Nawrocki, CCV, Phillips. That in itself tells it's own story. Nowhere near the form he was in the first half of the campaign, but totally agree, we need better alongside CCV as first choice going into next season.

 

Wasn't great. Issue is he's obviously our best option if the other 4 CBs can't displace him. Weird it's a position we need to address so soon again.

 

He along with Taylor is the glaring weak spot and are going to be constantly targeted

 

They obviously made us play out through him when taking the ball from Hart.

 

Had a good season but the last 6 weeks he has been a bomb scare, we need a major upgrade in the summer and let him go.

 

He was imperious in the first 5 months of the season. Stepped up when we needed him and was genuinely our second best player after O'Riley.

Since the break he's been way off it. His passing is particularly poor, every pass is behind the player. Unfortunately it looks like his early season form was a purple patch.

I like the guy and give him massive credit for stepping up, but it's looking increasingly likely that we need an upgrade.

If I was Lagerbielke or Nawrocki, I'd be demanding a move away from here. How this * clown gets a minute ahead of them is mond boggling.

Never seen someone so bad at passing in my life. It's ridiculous.

 

Started so many attacks today..... Sadly was for the huns tho.

Decent back to the walls defender but his ability on the ball is exactly what you would expect from a 500k punt from league of Ireland.

The officiating is embarrassing our game. They’ve impacted the result in the biggest game of the season. Disgraceful.

 

This is a massive part of our problem. We have players that are SPL level at best and when they have their purple patch, we all expect them to be consistently good and talk them up like they are the second coming. But they inevitably fall back to their standard level and then we see what we have seen from the likes of Ralston, Taylor and now Scales this season. Stop relying on players that should be 2nd choice at best. Buy * first team level players.

 

I think he is to CB what Tony Ralston is to RB. A player who had a period of exceptional play, but ultimately when it comes down to it is a back-up.

A good back-up, but not a starter if we want to progress.

We signed 2 perm and 1 loan CB this season and all were below him in the food chain. It's quite pathetic.

I think 2 out of him, Nawrocki and Lagerbielke need to be gone in the summer and 2 in.

 

Poor player.

Done well when he first came in as there were zero expectations on him.

If ever there was an indictment of how bad our recruitment is it’s the fact he gets a game for us every week.

 

Poor today, I’d like to see nawrocki in ahead of him next weekend to see how he gets on beside CCV. Scales and Taylor clear weak links today

 

I think he's a decent defender but terrible passing it out and when he comes out with the ball he runs it into danger squad player at best for us

Nawrocki must be really poor if he can't get a look in ahead of Scales currently which I find strange considering the price tag.
