Sorry if this is in the wrong place. But how difficult is it to get someone to come and fit a new digital TV aerial to your house? Search online and they are all linked to national companies wanting to do surveys, reports, and then give you a free written quote. I just want an aerial fitted, tell me how much it is, how difficult is that? I miss the days when you just got Dave from the local pub to come round and fit it for you.

Companies need to have a lot of this stuff incase an accident happens and courts say they didn't take precautions. It's a pain in the * but they are just covering themselves legally.

You don't want Dave from the pub ending up like Rod Hull.

Aye, Facebook is a great go to for things like this. Won't be some dodgy character, will still be insured companies but just not easy to come across on Google. Like most things.

Or that Nextdoor app is quite good for local stuff.
