Great to see how open the club are to the idea and that there'll be a census soon for it. Love where we are right now on and off the pitch

Just when you think you think your burning hatred for the custodians has peaked, they go and throw petrol on to it. Every time.

It can only be described as self sabotage. Any time we have a shred of momentum or desperately cobbled together hope, they snuff it out to remind you of their presence and refusal to adhere to logic.

For a lot of people these games won't register anyway and that's fair enough but for everyone this should be a reminder that our club have nothing but contempt for the fans and will happily kick the back of their heels no matter what the circumstances.

I’d like to hear both sides of the story before making a judgement.

Strange that they don't want a public spat but release a statement anyway calling folk shameful.

My 80yo cousin has his seat there, not sure I can see him getting in on the action any time soon. He'd need a new pair of compression stockings at any rate.

Which is fair. I do have to say though on the face of things without having heard both sides this doesn't seem to make much sense. We did it last season and it was clearly a big success so why not again this season.

Have the season ticket holders currently in this "Celtic End" been asked if they are happy for the section to become seated?

    I highly doubt it.

Celtic have confirmed they will allow the Green Brigade into their standing section for the Women's game after a scathing blast.

The fan group launched a blistering complaint over their "vindictive" board's decision. But now the club have responded to the statement by revealing their U-turn, citing "arrangements made" in a bid to prevent the issue initially in place.

The group were made aware that the Jock Stein would not be made available due to certain safety concerns relating to this specific area, but arrangements have been made by the club to allow the group to attend within the rail seating section," their response read

This has been communicated to the group and the club hopes that as many supporters and supporter groups as possible come along to support Celtic FC Women at the upcoming Celtic Park matches, as well as all other matches.

Well the only reason I say that is because the GB have been banned this season for their behaviour, so that might have something to do with it.

The club don’t trust the supporters especially the GB and those supporters don’t help themselves by ignoring the instructions about not using flares. That will be part of the safety issues used to ban those supporters:

    Of course not.

Us "stale" supporters don't matter a *. It's what the green Brigade want so that's all that matters and if they don't get what they want they'll throw a tantrum and boycott games

This is my kinda issue with it all. I'd love to be in it, given I currently sit in the Jock Stein Lower. However, I have three * season tickets right now and one of them belongs to my 64 year old mum. We have sat in the same seats for 11 years. I also sit next to a mum with her young autistic son. I also sit with a lot of older people, generally.

I get why everyone wants it and from a purely selfish point, I'd love to be a part of a new, expanded Celtic End. However, it's not going to happen and the Green Brigade need to accept the fact that some fans have paid their tickets for years in that section and they don't want it, like my mum and a lot of the older people around me.

Maybe we need to have a discussion on how we expand the area over at the Safe Standing Section to include Bhoys. I don't think the Celtic End is ever going to happen.
