Was looking like a depressed Mikey Johnston, scared to recieve a ball those first few games but recently does look more like a Jota than that.

Has quite good quality on the left foot, wee flicks, good crossing, * through to people, very technical. Beating men and running with the ball a lot as well which he barely even attempted until last week.

Now just to see how consistent he is.

That chip over the top that gave Kyogo his 1v1 with the keeper was class and perfectly weighted. You can see now he is a proper footballer, if folk make the right run then he will typically pick them out.

Having him and Yang available should be good as you could have Kuhn run at a full back for an hour then throw Yang on fresh at a tired body.

I am just hoping we can get a fit Hatate for the run in, if you added his craft and guile to more of a threat from the right, Maeda being direct of the left and a more like himself Kyogo, goals won’t be a problem like they have been up to now. As poor as we have been at the back games against Killie x2, Motherwell, Aberdeen, St Johnstone where we dropped points have really been down to failing to bury teams when we have been on top and missing really good chances.

Aye, noticed 2 or 3 times when he chased back harrassing an opposition player, like a wee terrier. :50:

Like many the first couple of displays had me think 'how can this be our star signing', on reflection maybe that was a) impatience and b) the fact that there was NO OTHER activity in the transfer market....hopefully he is settled, hopefully he is getting used to the other players, hopefully his teeth aint hurtin.....because options will be needed in the run in.

To be fair none of us knew about his drastic weight loss and toothache..

He looked very timid, weak in the challenge (all naturally) and understandably scared to engage..

We can only go on what we see at the time..

Everyones happy to be wrong. He looks quality..

He's our starter for the right as things stand..

Him and Yang very good options off that side now or even Yang off the other side with Maeda and Forrest on for Kuhn..

Delighted he looks like a player. I rate Yang but he isn't there yet. With Forrest having a good couple of cameos, it is looking much better on the right wing. Depth, eh?!

Mad how all of a sudden we're looking strong on the wings after going all season absolutely petrified cos no * could put a decent performance in.

Yang and Kühn are prob the two biggest reliefs now and look like they can be deadly for us. Even Jamesy showing he can still produce.

Certainly we actually look to be in decent shape on the right wing now that Kuhn is starting to settle in. Him and Yang obviously have plenty of potential for growth and improvement too so that is promising and as you say even Forrest has shown well in his recent cameos.

What impresses me about the transfer is he’s a straight swap for Abada and I’d say is an upgrade in terms of being a winger …. Brendan described Abada as a striker who plays out wide which is probably correct because his final ball was terrible
11 m for Abada and getting his replacement for 3 is good business hopefully the performances continue

Quality player and as said, grafts like *..

Nailed on for next week. If they start Barisic he'll cut in and get so much joy against their slow back lime feeding Kyogo or Maeda..
