Oh Hyeon-gyu

Would loan him out tbh, he’s looked good in flashes but can also look miles off the standard required. He needs a proper run of games, not just 15/20 minute cameos and he’s nowhere near getting that here.

 

I’d offer a years loan as a counterweight for getting Miovski. £4m and Oh on loan for a season would be more than reasonable.

 

If Rodgers isn't the manager he might get a game.

 

Has made a decent contribution but he isn't good enough to be our backup striker. Kidding ourselves otherwise.

A young promising striker, who’s shown he can contribute though, can’t be relied on yet but it’s something I’ve said we should have for years. 2 more senior players fighting it out and a young promising back up. This stage though, I’d see if we can loan him in the SPFL, because he needs games week to week now, and I want it to be in the league we want him to get used to.

He’s shown enough that I think he can be a very good player, but he’s not reliable enough yet to develop into that with us, so we need to either get him out for a year to do that and come back or sell.

 

As a third choice he's fine but before we signed Idah, if Kyogo was injured I'd be properly worried. We should have two experienced strikers at the club in GG/Kyogo mould.

 

Feel bad for him not getting any game time at all , seems a bit harsh on him

I don't think you get the goals to minutes he had without having some signs of talent that needs nurturing.

I would, if there is suitors, totally let him go out on loan to a SPL team or a English Championship to get a club he could get serious game time at.

At the very least we should be loaning him out this summer but personally I just don't think he has what it takes to be an important player for us and would sell him this summer if we can get a buyer.

 

Rodgers is a git for freezing players out though and he does chop and change to ease the pressure on himself.

 

Has barely had a sniff since that dreadful performance he turned in in defeat at rugby park.

Rodgers is a strange guy he'll bin players completely off the back of a bad performance yet others are constantly given change after chance.

I don't necessarily disagree with him deciding Oh isn't good enough and needed punted but there are others equally as deserving.
