Completely agree, actually. But Araujo still isn't here (* the lazy board).

 

The big man should have took that chance. In-pre season he looked decent dropping deep, so maybe him and Kyogo can switch about when they play together.

 

Seems to have fallen off a cliff in terms of impact. Thought he looked very promising last season from what we saw of him. Just not having any real effect this season.

 

He’s not and never will be good enough. Said it for long enough, if this is our level * help us.

 

Would anyone be keen on moving him on in the summer?

Hardly been involved this season, despite looking promising when he arrived.

 

He featured in every league game between the Ibrox win and the new year, so he's had his chances. It just feels like there's something missing, bar the odd performance. If we bring in another striker or sign Idah permanently, I'd at least be looking to get him out on loan.

 

Yeah think it’s pretty obvious at this stage he needs a loan at least. I actually really like him but there’s no denying there’s something lacking. Would anyone be confident if it was him starting up front against the huns? As I said, I like him, probably more than most Celtic fans, but I wouldn’t be.

 

On a technical level, he's actually a decent player. Strong with reasonable pace too. Just lacks that bottle in front of goal when a game is still up in the air or there is a bit of pressure. You'd fancy him to score in games we cruising though.

Whether it's something he'll ever overcome I dunno but the potential is there. I'd send him out on loan rather than sell him.

 

Had forgotten that. I knew he'd come on as sub a few times but forgot it was that frequent. Does show the lack of impact he's had.

I do like him and thought his first season was very promising. Just not sure we can spend 2 - 3 years on him if he's not improved this season.

 

100% believe there's a player in there. needs to go out on loan to a competitive league

 

Oh gets a lot of flack for someone who...

• This 2023/24 season, averages a league goal every 122 minutes, over 3 starts & 17 sub appearances.
  
• Entire Celtic career, he averages a league goal every 100min 48 sec, from 6 starts and 30 from the bench.
• Under Ange, Oh averaged a league goal every 83 min 20 seconds.

By comparison, Kyogo...

• This 2023/24 season has averaged a league goal every 212 min 42 sec, from 23 starts & 6 sub.
  
• Overall as a Celtic player, Kyogo averages a league goal every 113 min 30 seconds, from 70 starts & 15 sub.
  
• FTR, under Ange Kyogo averaged a league goal every 90 min 39 seconds

Obviously, these are all just league stats, but it's interesting and shouldn't be ignored.

Edit - I'm not saying Oh is a better player than Kyogo or anything like that, just that those stats make for interesting reading and deserve to be taken into consideration.

 

I'd be loaning him out first and see where he'dls at come the end of the loan.
