This. It's all about confidence for many centre-forwards.

His penalty miss then saw him go on to miss another couple of pretty glaring chances throughout the game at Tynecastle.

Then we get to today and I felt he was actually barely in the game. And the moments he did have he fluffed badly again.

Needs another boost, but with Kyogo on the scoresheet again, it could be time for another switch next weekend against St Johnstone.

Now Kyogo’s place, and set up for Idah coming on and swinging it back towards him starting next time.

Good honest lad but Kyogo is by far better player. Have no problem with him coming off the bench

You can't really bet your season on a 21 year old CF who had a poor goal scoring record upronlat month. Hopefully Kyogo's had the wake-up call he needed.

No was probably his worst game for us today. Missed some good chances. For me while he clearly has his qualities he is merely an upgrade on Oh and for the price that Norwich will likely ask for him I highly doubt we will see him being signed on a long term deal this summer.

23 year old mate. This is his first poor performance for us really, aye possibly last week with the penalty but think he done as much as he could as a lone man up there.

    but he was poor today.

Kyogo’s won his place back now definitely but he knows he needs to keep doing that.

He won it back a few weeks ago against Motherwell when he got the nod, and subbed at half time and Idah went on to be the clear choice. Competition is great and been dearly missed.

Two completely different styles as well, competing for one place and no room to coast on autopilot because the other will take the place, and both different options that offers the flexibility for us tactically. And they’ve also shown they can play together. We have options now, and hopefully a Kyogo making sure that it’s ridiculous with what he can be that Idah can threaten his place in the team. Because that kind of Kyogo is unstoppable

Sorry don't know why I thought he was 21. Does make a difference. Main point was that younger players tend to be more inconsistent, at 23 he'll hopefully be able to perform almost every week. Although I would a lot happier if Kyogo got this killer touch back for the run in.

He seemed to hit the ground running, two penalties then the two goals against Dundee seemed to fire him up.

But the game at the weekend was pretty telling. Fluffed a lot of chances and didn't seem composed or anything at all.

Kyogo, 100% is the better player.
Idah may be more the style that Rodgers likes, it seems in combination of Idah coming in and an up turn in performances, we actually may now play a style that would suit Kyogo better than earlier in season.

We have to remember though, Idah isn't our player and if he was to score double figures, the chances of a fair fee is out the window.

We shouldn't sacrifice Kyogo for Idah in my mind.

Specially when I've seen his performance at the weekend and clear he's got a lot to work on.

On showing so far, I wouldn't be looking to make any further enquiries in the summer.

Aye if he continues and does well till the end of the season....it'll only put the price up.....and our board won't pay money. The whole speculate to accumulate thing is lost on them. I dont know what type of business these * were in before they got on the Celtic board. But holy * they just dont get how business works at all

For all we know is his teams praying he does well enough that we're daft and take him off their books for a token fee.

He’s the style of player we need, but he’s not the player. Seems an honest big lad.
