We are undoubtedly weaker. But Starfelt and Mooy were hardly lauded as stars when they were here and GG was a bench player. Rodgers decided to play Turnbull over Hatate before Hatate got injured. And we have 7m of centre halves not getting a game because he chooses to play Scales and Welsh.

None of that is to defend the board. But every game feels like a struggle playing teams that in many instances have spent as much in their entire history as we have one one or two guys who can't get on our bench.

I think what you are saying is absolutely true if we are comparing ourselves to rangers or opponents in Europe. But we really shouldn't be struggling against the likes of livi, Ross county, St mirren, killie and Motherwell with that squad of players.

Tbf I don’t think it’s as bad as can be helped . Have had a shocking run of luck with injuries , a terrible last few weeks with results but as someone has said put the players that have left the last two windows in the team and we romp the league , the board never spent and thought rodgers would get results with what he had.

The biggest issue for me is that we are not scoring as many goals , especially from wide players.

Why do we speak like we are the only club on the planet with injuries ? Rangers have had their fair share as well this season

Starting to seriously warm to the idea of him moving on, even if we do somehow win the league. He’s taken the fun out of watching Celtic.

Didn’t think we were bad today. Defending was shocking at times which is to be expected with tweedle dumb and tweedle Dee at the back. We’ll be fine with CCV back in. 4 goals scored going on 8. Into the semis. Job done onto the next

Best winger we have? But not made an appearance for 3 months and only on today as one was injured, one sold and one having to come of injured?

Stop talking absolutely *. If some players don’t look interested then what can you say when managers telling everyone how much better other players in the squad are than you.

I thought we were pretty terrible. At best I can see someone saying we were average today against the worst team in our league and that's with Kuhn and Maeda having had their best games of the season.

We are entirely shapeless as a team. That's on Rodgers.

A lot more than us I’d guess. We just have had 2 main ones injured all season just about. It’s a * excuse when you rely so heavily on a couple of players. I e should have players ready to step in a big club like Celtic. But no we just try and squeeze by with the minimum. 5/6 really good players and the other 15 average Scots Prem standard.

I'm struggling these last few weeks to know what else people want/expect at this time?

If you're watching that game today and not seeing that we played pretty * well and very attacking, then I'm not sure you're watching the same sport as the rest of us.

Defensively we are absolutely honking without the experience and quality of a guy like CCV at the back.

But even then, they played fairly okay at the back and middle to front we were very impressive. Attacking in numbers, high tempo, aggressive pressing, fast free kicks and throwins and generally a Joy to watch.

We looked alright going forward, but we're playing the worst team in Scotland by a distance at home.

Expectations in the support have dropped MASSIVELY this season because of the * that's been served up. Winning that game 3-0 or 4-0 without any discomfort should be a formality for any competent Celtic team and manager.

We did our usual, made it far harder than it had to be and looked ropey against a bunch of farmers.

He is limited by CCV and Nawrocki being injured. He cant control that. Though I do agree with Lagerbielke, surely he must have more than Stephen * Welsh.

I agree with this, the fact we didn’t lose the goals from crosses given how big a team they are, it’s actually crazy.

The two goals we lost today would be frowned upon by Sunday league teams.

The one positive for me was the volume of chances we created, we really should have scored 6 minimum but more like 8. Kuhn was positive amongst that, he showed some genuine attacking intent and quality on the ball.

In the last few weeks we've scraped past Motherwell with 2 injury time goals were absolutely brilliant against Dundee followed up by a defeat to Hearts then on to relatively scraping past the worst team in the league today. I was as hopeful as anyone we had turned a corner but we simply haven't even giving him benefit of the doubt for the Hearts game today was no different to about 90% of this season boring turgid * against dross.

The drop off from CCV to everyone else is far too much of a gap I agree but again we have 8.5 million worth of CB's that can't get in ahead of Welsh and Scales that's on the manager.

That was many things today a joy to watch defo wasn't one of them

Only once this season have we managed to win at least 3 consecutive games.

We won 6 on-the-trot between late Dec-Jan, the rest of the season we have won at most 2 back to back games before either drawing or losing a game across all competitions. That is a damning statistic.

Yet again we rely on one or 2 good individual performances to pull us across the line. Midfield for me is as missing as it has been most of the season. We could easily have lost today. I thought we were far from ok today as a team. I can't see any coaching in this team. I just don't see what Rodgers is doing.

I'm not liking the way he's singling out players to state who's better.

A couple of comments recently has annoyed me. Forrest is our best winger and McGregor can step up to a level others can't... that's not helping anyone at all. My quotes may be off a bit, but they're definitely close enough to know what I'm on about.

I wanted him back btw, but I've lost all confidence him being able to turn this around. I even let the same * go when he has been saying stuff about us having better players and not having the quality of player needed.

    I'm actually gutted writing this.

The Forrest one came with the stipulation of what the rest can do, and what they need to do, I didn’t so much mind that.

The Calmac one though, the players point that out themselves in interviews a lot, and when he’s not available the manager should be backing and placing trust in players, saying captains missing and crucial, but he knows and backs those he’s put in to step up and make sure he’s not missed.

Hearing you’re not as good and can’t be as good anyway, but you’re in cause he’s not here (in more measured language but basically that) what use is that? Liam Scales handled the question of no Calmac better than he did, Tomoki is brilliant, a leader, players love him etc etc.

BR’s always had wee stories like that kicking about though, the full envelope that he wrote players that would let him down that would be revealed end of season at Liverpool etc.
