His first goal might have been the most difficult out of all the chances, and made to look the easiest watching the highlights back.

Ones he missed or connected and hit the bar or just sent majorly wide, all were better set up than how he recieved, controlled and dispatched the first. He’s some guy

 

Absolutely mental player man. scored 3, missed 2 from no more than a couple yards out plus had at least 3 other decent chances. He also worked his absolute bollocks off and put in a great shift as ever.

 

Hopefully we see him in the hoops for another 100 and many more beyond. At 26 he has his peak career years ahead of him now. Would love for them to be all with us.

 

One of our most important players IMHO. He brings so many things to the team on both sides of the ball. Regardless of how this season finishes it is clear there will be and we certainly need it a big overhaul of the team with a lot of comings and goings this summer. But for me Maeda should be one of the core figures going forward.

 

A good day to boost his confidence.

 

If Daizen has entered a purple patch, Ibrox better be evacuated on the 7th. A SSJ transformation is dangerous. With that much hair Maeda scores 6.

Some people say "he works hard" quite dismissively and I can't understand that. Saying he works hard is a bit like saying Lubo was quite good at passing.

 

Saying Daizen's work off the ball is good is like saying that the entire universe is "quite big".

 

He's gonna end up with a dyed blonde Kyogo perm and I'll be here to see it.

 

He's a puzzle wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a car crash, wrapped in a samurai and I widnae change him

 

he’s the only player Ive ever praised for working hard, as working hard should be the minimum in my eyes.

He is probably the hardest working player I’ve ever seen though. Genuinely elite level athlete.

Makes up for the fact he can’t control the ball to a point.

 

Lol me and my brother have sussed out why maedas finishing is poor at times. He moves so fast when hes about to pull the trigger his brain is still at the halfway line trying to catch up.like roadrunner and wylie coyote cartoon lol HH

 

Can you imagine if he had a first touch, could pass the ball, score his sitters and cross he’d be brilliant. Wait Wait Wait, he wouldn’t be here, obviously. His lack of technique is unbelievable.
