It’s much better than the standard outside the top 2 teams tbh.

Good on him for doing well, he should leave for the good of his career. And hopefully get us a good payday

Hopefully his fee is increasing every week for us.

Goals he's scoring would never get that time and space playing for us.

Imagine we had a qaulity player on the left instead of meada. Oh we did. We loaned him because "he wasn't good enough" just as he started scoring goals, and finally keeping injury free.

I’d say Rodgers feels a bit silly about his “needs to do more” comments now.

I’ve never been MJ’s biggest fan but it’s clear he wasn’t managed properly this season. Not surprised he was low on confidence.

And at least 10 times more space.

Daryl Murphy and Teemu Pukki ripped up that league

Knowing his Celtic career so far, he'll absolutely set it on fire down there, and then get injured on the 90th min of the last game of the loan and return to us *...

People saying he's found his level. He clearly hasn't cause he's making a mockery of that level. Well in Mikey, hope he's a success no matter what happens with his future here.

Some silly comments on here, at times.

MJ is doing exceptionally well down there and that can only be a good thing for Celtic. He either comes back full of confidence, ready to take a step here(which I don't think should happen) or he goes on a permanent deal for a very serious fee. Every week now I seem to be increasing my value on him but I genuinely think it should be £4m minimum and a large sell on fee.

At the same time, it's a completely different sort of league down there. Not saying it's worse than the SPFL, because I believe it's a better league, but it's clearly a league where it's much more even. There aren't a couple of Juggernauts down there who blow most teams away and dominate the league every season, because of what it is. There are no low blocks down there. Every team fancies their chances against each other.

That's not me putting down MJ and his form or being disrespectful to the Championship whatsoever. He's done amazing in a very competitive league and I hope it continues because that can only be a good thing for us. It's just a completely different sort of league, which largely benefits good attackers. It doesn't mean Rodgers doesn't know how to utilise him, because if that was the case, Lennon and Ange didn't either. Quite simply, the league doesn't suit him.

On a separate note, I've been saying for 2/3 years now that we should be keeping a very close eye on Carlos Corberan. A Bielsa absolute and his final disciple. He should be very much on our radar, if Rodgers was to go in the summer.

I doubt it. He wasn't doing enough when he played for us.

Yeah, both things are true. It's got better teams, better coaches, better players. But that means more teams have a go, leaving more space. It's a highly competitive league. One of the maddest in Europe.

Johnston for whatever reason (mentality, mainly) didn't take his (limited) chances here. But the toxicity of the fanbase towards him wasn't exactly nurturing.

He's ripping it up for a team pushing for promotion in a league that is superior to ours. Most people would be happy for him, but you still get some calling him * and slating the league he's performing well in. It's really weird behaviour imo.

Probably not but I don’t think four starts in half a season is enough for a winger to really find their top form. I’m saying this with the benefit of hindsight but don’t think he was given enough of a chance.

He was given more chances than any other Celtic player in history. Rodgers sees him in training too. There was a reason he wasn't playing as much as he wanted to.

Four starts and a few appearances off the bench isn’t enough of a chance to find a rhythm though, that’s my point. Especially for a winger who clearly thrives on confidence. Fair enough if Rodgers believed he didn’t show enough in those appearances/in training to dislodge Maeda but that doesn’t mean he was right.

We’re currently seeing what he can do when he is given a run, in a much tougher league than ours. It might be a flash in the pan but if he stays fit (I know) he will probably kick on. I’d be surprised if Rodgers expected him to do as well as he’s doing.

We need to look at the ridiculous fees in that * league and base our value of him on that.

A good example will be Norwich wanting £5m+ for Idah

Folk ignoring that he wasn’t in his main position either, it’s always been clearly obvious he’s a left winger

Or he's just sorted out his medical issues, has been mostly fit since the start of last season and is finally kicking on because his body is allowing him to train and play regularly.

Or he's maturing a bit more now and making better decisions on the park.

Or maybe it's a mix of a lot of different things (as most things are). The way he's playing just now, he looks like someone I'd like to have in our squad.
