    Why?

He's acted appallingly. Listening to a crowd of people in his own 'country' saying that the club are antisemitic. He's got nothing but support from the manager, back room team and fans. All you have to do is listen to the roar he got when he entered the field of play. But all that means nothing because he's under the influence of the powers that be that support a genocide.

    So yeah. Bye. *.

Such a wasted talent for us this season, he definitely could of made a huge difference with his goals & assists plus could of been worth far more.

Take the money and re-invest wisely.

He watched a large element of our ultra group glorifying in the death of his fellow countrymen during a terrorist attack. The day of, in fact. Innocent women and children, murdered, raped and kidnapped by a bunch of terrorists.

We can all relate to the Palestinian cause but that was * moronic. Absolutely disgraceful, in fact.

So, aye. He has every right to act like a ‘*’… when that’s the sort of thing he’s been witnessing.

I can’t find any quotes or anything from Abada but no one knows whether or not he supports the idea that we are antisemetic. Glorifying in the deaths of innocent men and women doesn’t exactly push the idea away though, does it.

Bit of a stretch that, they unfurled a banner that said free Palestine, victory to the resistance.

Flying Palestinian flags doesn't equate to supporting Hamas.

Palestinians have been murdered day in day out from 1948. Celtic fans didn't start waving Palestinian flags on the 7th of October 2023.

Point is if he thinks hes getting away from the political side of it then hes in for a rude awakening because where ever he goes there will be an overwhelming support for Palestine over Israel and that's a fact. (Unless he moves to Germany strangely)

His head has been filled with * nonsense from a propaganda machine trying to justify the deaths of 30k civilians as self defence and a bimbo girlfriend with lips the size of two * canoes.

So if he wants to leave in a huff because the majority of our fans support the right of civilians not to have their homes airstruck or shelled by tanks or * killed in a refugee camp then on his head be it the *.

Yes, they unfurled a banner saying ‘Victory to the resistance’ on the day that same resistance murdered, raped and kidnapped innocent civilians.

No one is suggesting flying Palestinian flags equates to supporting Hamas and no one is saying we shouldn’t be flying Palestinian flags. You’re conflating multiple issues here.

That banner was horrendous. The timing of it, the wording of it. Horrendous. Whether or not the intent was there to support a terrorist organisation, it came across that way and it was * moronic.

So you're basing your assumptions on his body language.. Bullet proofed I see :giggle1:

The Israeli war crimes ans atrocious and I can't put their suffering into words. But I still find it ridiculous to than target our own player based on body language alone. That's not standing up for the Palastinian and speaking out. That can be done without pointing our anger on our own player. Like the GB have done but a few members here not.

Anyways, the admins are already heavily breathing so we'll have to stop here.

Good business if we get nearly 10m but a sad ending to lose him like that. As a club for all we should be able to have Israelis in our ranks but I guess they should be ready to deal with our well known Pro-Palestinian stand. Was a huge mistake from the board not judging the situation correctly from the beginning. If he didn't want to be here, we should have moved him in January.

As a club for all we should be able to show solidarity with a country under a genocidal attack without a player who's state is commiting said genocide leaving in a huff because we aren't complicant

Can't believe we're getting that much for him, board probably won't spend it where it needs spent anyway so dunno how much it matters.
Also, without sounding like too much of a crazy person, his numbers made him look better than he was, he was effective at times, but also incredibly limited.

It wasn't the fans who pushed him out celtic it was the propaganda machine in Israel. Wee man was * the minute the banners went up by the GB who have always been steadfast in their support of the oppressed. He did look like he downed tools though when we came back from winter break.

The narrative will be spun by Scottish media and moreover Israeli media. If he was Russian or North Korean it would be widely condemned. The fact celtic haven't confirmed on social media or wished him well tells me we are rightly * off at his desire to move.

From Eyal Berkovic to Liel Abada and every Israeli in-between served us well. Dudu Duhan not being able to punt his clients to us is the silver lining in all of this.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen two players go out in March before. Whoever is in the right or wrong, I just feel it sets such a bad image of our club.

Will no doubt go down like a lead balloon here, but I think there’s a few among our support who should be embarrassed by the way they turned on him tbh. Very revealing.

Guy was left in an impossible situation. Hope to see him do well in his career.

Impressed with his statement. At least it's been addressed. We got a decent fee and he will get some breathing safe from the impossible position he was in.

A certain other Celtic forum has locked their Abada thread.

This one is much more professional.
