U can if ur a hun.

Don't recall any punishment for their tantrum after the new year game or for them demanding for the 2nd time that Collum doesn't referee any of their games

He'll end up with a ban. Yet uncle fester across the way can say what he likes about officials with no repercussions.

Same as Gerrard, got away with it multiple times.
But Lennon was always punished for daring to call it out in his first stint.

I'd not be surprised if they came down on Rodgers now.

If I remember rightly, Gerrard slated Collum in his first game when they drew with the sheep. Collum didn't ref another game for the huns thag season.

Celtic board should put out a poll in the website with the names of the managers to choose from and then get into discussions with the most popular choice

Think he’s trying to create that siege mentality again to try and give us that little bit extra. Was ill advised his words on the officials and will most like get him a ban but I think thats what his agenda is.

although i suppose the officiating was actually poor and its daft you can’t call it out at all.

He must be loving this, it's drawn attention away from his utter incompetence. He can now claim we lost the league due to poor officiating, when in actual fact its down to his complete inability to get us performing with any level of consistency for 7 months.

A top manager would use this to their advantage- create a siege mentality and get the team extra motivated. There were signs that Rodgers was starting to do this last week but I was really disappointed with the second half performance on Sunday. Yes, we were cheated but we showed no fight whatsoever.

True, but a top manager wouldn't have us in this position in the first place.

They're allowed to slaughter and stick statements out for things that were the correct decision (handball after they were offside at us). Yet our manager gets done..

They've had free reign to comment on their pals/refs for ages now as mentioned above..

    The whole things a joke..

On a side note some * has gone to my maws block and spray painted BrendOn Rodgers is gay on the wall :giggle1::giggle1::giggle1:

Brendan Rodgers has been charged by the SFA following his outburst over the match officials in Celtic's loss to Hearts.

The Hoops gaffer has now been hit with a notice of complaint by SFA Compliance Officer Martin Black and faces punishment from following his post-match interview at Tynecastle. The Irishman will learn his fate at a Hampden hearing on Thursday, March 28

Rodgers slammed referee Don Robertson and VAR official John Beaton following their 2-0 Scottish Premiership defeat - which saw Celtic fail to move back to top spot in table. There were several flashpoints in the capital with winger Yang sent off following a high boot on Alex Cochrane following a review of the pitchside monitor - that came just minutes after winning a penalty that Adam Idah missed following a tussle with the same player

Tomoki Iwata was then penalised for a handball in another decision that infuriated Rodgers with the Irishman branding the call an 'absolutely shocking decision'. Compliance Officer Martin Black has now decided to act with the Celtic boss now in the dock over the blistering comments.

Rodgers breached Rule 72. Article 96.1 which states: "No recognised football body, club, official, Team Official or other member of Team Staff, player or other person under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA, shall in an interview, a ‘blog’ on the internet, on a social networking or microblogging site, or in any other manner calculated or likely to lead to publicity (i) criticise the Decision(s) and/or performance(s) of any or all match official(s) in such a way as to indicate bias or incompetence on the part of such match official; or (ii) make remarks about such match official(s) which impinge on his character. For the avoidance of doubt this Rule applies (i) whether reported to the Scottish FA by a match official for Misconduct or otherwise, and (ii) where remarks are brought to the Scottish FA’s attention, or of which the Scottish FA becomes aware, by whatever manner or means. There shall be a presumption that any material published in such manner was published in the name of and/or with the authority of the person or body bearing to have published the material."

Speaking post-match on Sunday, Rodgers said: "Listen firstly I want to give credit to my players as they fought from the very first whistle. I never like to comment on officials. It is not something I do. I've been stood here long enough but that cost us today. The officiating. From on field to John Beaton in VAR - that was really, really poor.

Club needs to lawyer up! Plenty of evidence of bias in the decision making of referees, var and sfa/spfl officials.

Good stuff hopefully a statement by the club yo follow saying we won't be taking it lying down due to the multiple examples other managers have complained about refs with no action taken.

Genuinely would be seeking legal advice over it and taking it all the way. * rodents.

You see managers on Sportscene going bonkers every week (rightly) about ludicrous decisions, is it just if you mention a name you get hammered?
