    Get 'um Tay * !!!

I haven't read this thread, and I don't know the exact details, but in light of what's going on and his stance regarding it......... I'd have happily let him go for nothing and just wipe the slate clean. FREE PALESTINE !!!

A really good fit for Ange’s style, attacks the back post as a wide man probably the best I’ve seen for us. Outwith that, did not impact a game. Definition of a good system player, thats a ridiculously good fee for him. Especially when you factor his depreciation in value by sitting games out.

easy for a club to sit on a low-ball fee knowing he wants out.

Unless they're of Arab decent and don't give a * about the Israeli international team.

The Israeli top flight has loads of "non Jewish" players from surrounding territories who suddenly have their Israeli citizenship ratified when a club sees potential.
Unfortunately they're treated like * by Israeli fans waving bigoted banners and demanding their removal. Abbas Suan or Munas Dabbur for example.

And these utter * from Israeli football have an absolute brass * neck to criticise our support. The * their fans wave and chant wouldn't put the * BNP to shame.

So they can get to *. And if Abada wants to spit the dummy, he can get to * too. Along with that cowardly hypocrite Biton.

They can keep their ethnic cleansing bigots. We can take the minorities.

I really don’t think it’s as simple a thing as “He doesn’t want to play for us, get him tae *”, unless you live a cartoonish world where everything is good vs evil or black and white.

I had really hoped he would be able to find a way to stay as he’s a talented player. It’s evidently too difficult for him given what has happened in Israel and Palestine since October and the political leaning of much of our support.

Controversial opinion, but the Green Brigade’s banners on the afternoon of the Hamas attacks won’t have helped in the slightest. That wasn’t seen as support for Palestine. lt was seen as them revelling in the deaths of innocents. As I said at the time, it was horribly immature and ill-thought out. Liel is Israeli, with Israeli family and friends. It doesn’t necessarily make him a Zionist and we have to be careful not to make sweeping generalisations about an entire nation of people, within which there are a wide range of political opinions, like any other country.

There will be those who come back to me and say “But look at what Israel has done since then”- you won’t find an argument from me there. It’s abhorrent, it’s indiscriminate, and it’s bordering on the genocidal if it isn’t already. Netanyahu should stand trial in front of The Hague as far as I’m concerned.

But it doesn’t change the fact that the Middle East is geopolitically complicated, and it doesn’t mean that Abada himself agrees with what’s happening in Gaza. He has no more control over Netanyahu and the IDF than I do over the UK government, who have invaded Iraq and Afghanistan in my lifetime on false pretenses and caused utter chaos across the entire region as a result.

Unfortunately he will undeniably be under a lot of pressure at home for a lot of different reasons, and may feel that a fresh start is in both his and our best interests. We’re getting good money for him and I wish him well.

His first interview and how quickly he plays, will tell us a lot about his mental state, whether he downed tools etc. But it's best he go goes. Glad were making decent coin out of it in the end.

Not touching the political aspect, but will remember him putting the huns to the sword a few times.

£10m would be an absolute steal. He’s completely bang average and didn’t think we would even get our money back. He did have a good season numbers wise in his first campaign. Second he was pretty meh and lost his starting spot.

Some people are going to be look a fool when abada gives his real opinion on it either soon enough or when his career is over when he can actually speak his mind! Footballers are good at playing the aul game of keeping there thoughts to themselves during their career but soon as it's over, they get brave and let loose. His body language was enough for me to know what he really thinks!

Anyway with that said, thanks for the good memories! We draw a line under it and move on.

One last thing! Israel is * scum of the earth!

It' interesting that you know exactly how he feels on his nationality and religion alone. If an orange * would do the same with a Scott with Irish ancestry you would call him a secterian basterd and rightly so. But that makes you to a racist scum as the orange order secterians are. Congratulation on going down on orange order level. But you will make up soem excuse on why you are not because, apparently, your brain is oberwhelmed when it comes to logic thinking.

Even if he turns out to be a IDF loving * as you and some others suggest here it will not change the fact that you made assumptions based on his nationality and religion alone, which is, in your hateful form, absolutely racist. At least have some self-awareness when the scum sings their billy boys racist songs and don't complain about other people being racist when you are one yourself.

And now go on to another pathetic attempt on to explain why making negative assumptions based on nationality and religion is not racist :giggle1:

Sorry to hear him go, remember his entourage has criticised CFC, I look forward to hearing his thoughts when the move is sealed, wish him well on his career.
As others have said, please leave the Israeli market alone as we dont want players left in a difficult position due to religion or nationality.

The hate from a fringe of our supporters on this guy is unreal. Re-writing history on his ability, "he wasnt that good anyway". Embarassing stuff. Clearly the stuff out of football got to him and he lost his head, he is also far better than the MLS. Some of our fans need to take a good look at themselves.

I don't hate him. This whole situation is awkward, because no side is 100% right in the conflict.

There's been hate for Israel but there's been no hate for Abada himself. Who knows if one ot two idiots have had a pop..

What do you mean a fringe of our supporters? If you mean the Green Brigade, have the balls to say it?

I bet no side has ever been 100% right in any conflict throughout human history. Was the IRA 100% right? All that matters is whether you stand with the oppressed or with the oppressor. By saying that palestinians aren't 100% right, you legitimise an ongoing genocide.

I absolutely do not legitimize it. I do believe Hamas are bloodthirsty rapists, and Abada has the right to grieve for the 1300-something of his people that got killed. Just as Palestinians have a right to live where they are, without excessive bombing and starvation. The retribution is disproportionate.
