I hate to say it but it's a red. He's endangered the safety of an opponent by studdin him to the face

 

Replays show he barely, if at all, touched the guy. Was never endangering the player. Bair for Motherwell last week on our players was 10x worse and wasn't even looked at.

Yang wasn't in motion.
There was no intent.
He raised his foot before the hearts player stuck his head in.

Booking for high boot was the correct call and nothing more should've been done. VAR was is there for clear and obvious error.

Robertson saw the incident and he booked the player. What beathun did was plain and simply cheating. Lookednfor something that wasn't there. And for Robertson to go to the monitor, look at tbe incident, and then agree with Beathun, makes him just as bad.

Yang's red will definitely be overturned, but the damage by beathun and Robertson has already been done.

 

Can't believe some are actually faulting Yang for that.

So many * on social media trying to over emphasize this and compare it to the likes of that hun Roofe in Europe who literally flying kicked studs up a goal keeper in the face.

Yang was literally standing still, tell me how many players run head first full force? None.

It was a yellow card for high boot, he's not endangering the player when he's standing still with his foot up, if he was charging into it, sure.

 

Yang played great for his 16 minutes. Got us a penalty, tore by them before putting mor through. I'm not blaming him one bit. He'll learn from that though and think he'll be a really important player in the run in and especially next year.

 

You could tell he was gonna torture them..

 

I can actually take the red for him. I can see how it could be seen as a red. The penalty is the one for me that was just ridiculous and maybe Beaton felt they had a good chance to rubber stamp the result today.

 

It’s never ever a red card. Doesn’t even catch the boy. It’s silly from Yang because it’s obviously a yellow. Disgraceful decision.

 

It's never a red...he's looked to flick it over the boys head, beaton getting involved when the ref had made the correct decision...the penalty is just blatant cheating...the game is * if that Hun * deemed that a penalty.

 

Hope today isn't a setback for him, he's been a breath of fresh air the last few matches and started well today, and he was hard done by with the red card.

 

He started brightly as everyone said he stays on and we win that today hope it doesn’t dent his confidence

 

Never a red, he isn't challenging, was bringing the ball under control, and his foot was already raised when hearts player rushed in. A yellow would've been unfortunate, but acceptable.

It's a joke of a decision. Utterly abysmal officiating.

Sevco wouldve released 3 statements by now, demanding to hear the VAR audio.

Where's our board? Where's our indignation?

Na, "we are in constant contact with the referees".

 

Him going off after missing a penalty was the turning point for the match, and it was a clear red card.

Hopefully he’s still able to contribute positively once he’s back.

 

Yang was showing his naivety, there was no malice but sometimes it’s better not putting yourself in that situation, hopefully he learns from it and moves on.

 

Don't disagree it was naive and he needs to learn not to raise the boot that high.

But it's not a red card at all, ref dealt with it and yellow is more than acceptable - as said by almost every pundit going as well.

VaR screwed him and us. We can't suddenly blame him for VaR being used wrongly.

Yes I think naive is the best word to describe it. He’ll learn from it.

 

It definitely wasn't a clear red card, hence why we've appealed it.

 

Can’t see us winning that appeal. They’d have to admit both the ref and that * Beaton were wrong. That ain’t happening.
I’d like the VAR audio though, “Don that’s a sending off!!! Remember we got beat yesterday”. It would be the same audio for the penalty.
