He gave the ball away under zero pressure 3 times in the first 6 minutes. 5 seasons we've had to put up with this terrible excuse of a footballer.

The officials were shocking, but so was Taylor. Any time a team doesn’t sit in a low block and has a go at us he’s shown up. Constantly targeting his side, constantly getting beat for pace, strength, bad positioning, losing the ball constantly and panicking. I don’t blame him on the game but he’s brutal when he has to play as a full back

Mate I get sometimes players are made scapegoats and sometimes isn't justified but Taylor's performance today was a shocker to say the least. He isn't the soul reason we lost but in the same breath he certainly wasn't contributing any positives. Constantly giving the ball away, constantly positioned poorly.

Taylor has the occasional good game but in my mind he is not good enough for our club.

AJ this season hasn't been at his best but his level of performances are far far better then Taylors.

Taylor isn't the kind of player we should consider as handy backup!

Meida was far worse than Taylor, but I wouldn't blame him either.

The officials done what I said yesterday after them loosing.

The officials will win them the league this year not GT.

Were the officials to blame for him losing the ball multiple times? Being weak as * defensively and turning back towards his own goal most opportunities he got?

Cmon. He had a stinker. Officials or not.

He gets targeted in these games and its obvious why. Was a point in the first half where forrest ran down the right and it was painful watching Taylor try to get back.

Back up at best next season.

Taylor is adequate going forward, but he's the worst defender in our back 4 which happens to have Liam Scales.

Every single attacking threat Hearts had early was down Taylors side.

Every single team this season that attacks us goes down Taylors side. Constantly targetted and constantly coming up second best. We needed so much better 4 seasons ago. We need so much better next season

spot on that. left side has been targeted by any half decent side with a plan and that tells it's own story.

He's perfectly good as a squad player but we have to aim higher than Taylor next year

Definitely mate. I’ve said before he can play really well against a team that sits in a low block but that’s cause he has space and time with no attacking threat from the opposition and if they do counter he’s miles out. Anytime a team comes to play they target him and he’s abysmal

We all know we needed a new lb last summer, glaringly obvious. He's a decent spl standard lb nothing more. If he's still no.1 next season then this thread will be negative every post!.

Going forward, against 11 in Scotland he’s perfect. Wonderful on the ball and does great connecting recycled balls and finding a pass. Up top is where he excels and likely because he played higher up as a youngster - it shows.

When under the cosh in Europe, when we’re not faring well or like yesterday down to 10 men, he’s not the best fit.

When he can’t invert which would be the case when we went to a 4-3-2, he is in trouble. He is a terrible 1 v 1 defender.

He is tidy on the ball, a good passer of the ball but defensively he is all over the place.

Greg is a great guy, and a decent player. He gives 100% and cannot be faulted for his effort in a Celtic jersey. I really like him and can't say a bad word against him............. But he isn't a good enough defender to be playing first choice left back for us, it's as simple as that. NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!!

He was * yesterday. He's going to be crucial in the run in so we need him to vastly improve on what he offered yesterday.

Undeniably had a mare 3 or 4 times in the first few minutes alone. They were punting long diagonals relentlessly to that lanky centre half Sibbick who was almost a right winger standing on Taylor....a complete mismatch..

I've slated him this season but it's clear to see we're a better team when he's in it and has been really good since he's been back. We 100% need better in the summer though..
