    Celebrations were mental.

Fair enough having a laugh and a joke but christ even if we did win today we'd still only have been 1 clear.

There's more twists to come yet but you could just sense today coming almost.

Outside of them, today was always gonna be hardest game in the run in. Them getting beat yesterday gave us a bit of slack but it's disappointing not pressing home the advantage and we are now still in same position and under the pressure of needing to win every game between now and end of the season and essentially once again going into game at ibrox we're if we lose the league is likely gone.

I don’t know how I feel after this weekend.

I know it sounds strange, but I think our level of performance was still on the better side compared to most of this season even though we lost 2-0.. so I get a small amount of encouragement from that.

On the other side, the mentality is absolutely shocking. It was always our strength but flooding the squad with inexperience while selling experience has absolutely devastated the overall mentality. You’ll never get a clearer example of that than today.

My current feeling is it’s very difficult to make a case for us winning the league.

Despite losing yesterday their form has been much better since they got their new manager. I think today is our third loss since then, with a few draws thrown in too.

There’s a lot being put on the derby fixtures. I think it’s a very big ask to see expect us to beat them twice in the run in and frankly on current form it’s not clear if even that would be enough.

It’s rare to win every derby game. Even in our best seasons we haven’t done it to my memory. I think MON era is the only one I remember.

Am actually not using today as any sort of indication of how we'll be going forward. The emergence of Yang being backed up by AJ for me is the exact thing that we've been searching for in our attacking play, along with a big front man like Idah. Just so happens that the one player it was vital had a good game today, was the one player that got wrongly sent off.

I know I'll prob get abuse for putting so much hope in Yang as he's only now just starting to show himself at a good level, but I genuinely think he's exactly what we need. Hopefully we deal with St Johnstone easy enough and get him back in for the run in as he will play a huge part in it.

Whichever team wins it will be the worst league winners of all time.

Or draw and beat them at CP. If we lose at Ibrox and the gap is 5pts it'll be game over. It probably is already to be honest, not because the gap is insurmountable but because I don't see us putting a winning-run together.

Problem with drawing is we also have Killie away after the split, a game which I have zero confidence in us winning.

I honestly think it'll take us winning both games against them to win the league, as I don't see us winning the remaining 9 games.

Hard to disagree with that. As I said a few weeks back it's one thing to lose the league to a team with players like Laudrup, De Boer and Arteta but it'll be a real low losing to Dessers, that wee Turkish LB and TikTokTodd and his hairband.

The only silver lining was that we dropped points in one of our most difficult fixtures of the season which was always a real possibility whereas the huns slipped up in a home game that they were expected to win comfortably.

I doubt we will get a better opportunity than this. Huge statement if we had won today.

Need to regroup and hope this setback is just that...

Frustratingly it means that going to Ibrox is even more important now.

If we'd won today and lost there at worst we'd still have only been about 2 points behind going into the split with them still to play at home.

Lose there and go 5 behind and that's looking hard to come back from.

We need to hope that yesterday’s result for the huns has sucked the air out of them a bit… but our result will give them a boost.

We’re relying on them to drop more points outside of the games against us, because we won’t win all of our matches.

Todays result just backs up my opinion,no faith in Rodgers to get the job done.

We had to win that game today, absolutely had too. Yesterday is what has been needed for us them to give up something but to go there and not get the result is poor.

I know there are mitigating circumstances and I didn’t see the game today so I don’t know what the performance was like but see getting a penalty early on, you need that smashed in and it probably sets you up to go and dominate on the back of a big win during the week.

There is definitely a mental weakness about this side. A half decent Celtic side, never mind a good one has this title sewn up by now. As soon as something goes against us or someone gets in our faces this team has folded all season. Given what we come up against up here you can’t have that mindset.

I know they have been on a run but that Hearts team are very average. If you can nullify their striker Shankland they offer so little yet we have three times now lost goals to him this season. All be it the one in the first game was a consolation.

I just don’t see who are the players in that side with the heart and proper drive to go and win this title. We folded there at Tyncastle imagine going into the game at ibrox it’s going to be tenfold worse. I know we won there earlier in the season but this is a title defining game and has so much more pressure on it.
