Will do his confidence the world of good...

If he can hit goal scoring form for the run in, it would be huge for us.

Palma for me doesn’t seem to do well against fresh players, not got that pace to worry players. Has the skill to create a yard or two but then can’t get away from the defender. Palma as a sub for me, just because of that

How you score a cracking goal like that of your bad foot after, missing that absolute sitter against Motherwell that he could have just ran in to and it would have went in, is only something Maeda could do.

Like the others in the team he seemed to have an edge about him last night. As a team we went from being bullied recently to being the ones handing it out more often than not. Hopefully we can continue that.

If he could finish like that more often he would be a powerhouse player.

Whit a guy! I know he takes some abuse for the ones he misses (some of it deserved) but by * he never lets his head go down or stop trying for us, whether it's getting forward to score/miss/create chances or back to close down and harry the opposition. :ynwacelti

Where is that composure in every game?

He has it in his locker....almost if he doesnt need to think about it he does better

Thought he over celebrated that goal last night - ruining his reputation

Just before he scored, maybe 5 mins before, he lost the plot with his pressing after he failed to beat a man. Completely abandoned Taylor 3 on 1 chasing the ball head down raging, and it’s the most I’ve seen him look raging with himself. Taylor got a hold of him and he stopped it, then he scored that * goal.

And his positional play came back, clever pressing couple with his sheer work rate, and making defenders follow his runs constantly whether a pass was on or not.

Think the goal, and the quality of goal it was more importantly, has gave him some confidence and galvanised him. If he kicks on and does the same at Tynecastle, then we’ll see if it has had that much an effect but the difference in him was astounding before and after the goal, for me and my brother watching it together both of us noticed and didn’t say till after the game, so noticed separately.

One of those quite subtle but crucial differences

Again, quite simply a * woeful footballer.

And his miraculous work rate can't save him today as our left side was tortured.

    A dreadful, dreadful football player.

Even his pressing is * now. Just sprints at the guy full pelt and gets easily side stepped or commits a foul.

    Completely braindead.

We’ve too many players who simply aren’t good enough it’s mental. Him and Taylor on the left and even scales tbh… mid table spfl standard

Isn't he supposed to be like two players?

What a laugh. Hopeless on the ball and just constantly commits stupid fouls by running into people.
